Keep or return...boots edition

I'm on the fence about these riding boots I got today. Outside opinions welcome

Thanks I'm just not sure about the height. I have long legs and maybe wish they were a little taller. I've also never had boots this color before-I usually reach for a dark brown or black

I truly did not think they were too short. I usually have the opposite problem of mine being too long. :-P I kept looking at them and wondering what you might find off about them. I'd keep them!

The heel looks a little off to me but maybe it's the angle of the photo, how high is it?

I think that's what's throwing it off for me too. I wish the heel was a contrast color or cork maybe? It's like an inch heel.

The heel looks like it's not wide enough or something, like it starts too far back? Does that make sense? Otherwise I think they are perfect.

I'm going to dissent. I do think are too short. If they were 2-3" higher I think they would be perfect.

I don't love them....something feels off. I think if you are on the fence you should return them.

I also don't love them but can't say exactly why. If you have some free time there are so many boot options out there - maybe too many. Good luck. I saw a ton of very fairly priced boots at the Rack and TJMaxx. I am in the same situation and trying to decide between some boots. I will have to post some pictures later in the week.

I like the color, but something about them feels off to me. Maybe the height, like they look a bit too short on you? I don't know. If you have doubts I'd return.

I agree with bimbi. I love them overall but the heel is throwing me off. It feels like the heel is not wide enough or something. If you don't love them, I'd return. Other than the heel I really like them.

For me with riding boots, I want a lower heel usually so they are almost flat. By that's just my preference.

Yeah they would look better with a contrast material or color, it's so close to the boot color I think that's why it looks funny. It's not terrible but it would bug me.

I'm going to agree with the dissenters - both the heel and the height are wrong IMO. Unless you got some crazy amazing deal, I think you can do better!
