Honest opinions wanted and appreciated. First off thank you for the boot recommendations. I ended up ordering the Frye Melissa back zip boot. I don't know why but I have a hard time in general liking boots on me. I think they look fabulous on others. I think I just need reassurance these look ok. Or tell it to me straight to go back to the drawing board.
Do they stretch at all? They are the wide calf and I feel like trying to get a jegging/skinny jean won't fit in the boot.
In my experience, my ankles are definitely way thinner than the my calves so any boot is definitely "baggy" in the ankle, especially with Fryes. The only way I don't have this issue is with "stretchy" leather boots. I have learned to accept it and look for boots made of stiffer leather so they don't sag as much.

I think they look great but I think they are too short if anything. I hate this trend of short riding boots that cut your legs in half. If you don't like them, definitely return but I think they look very good.
