This is like the longest short week everrrr. I am going into work late today due to a doctor follow up for my foot that I injured in the accident.
I haven't been here as often. Work has been crazy busy, but I am all moved in to my ground floor office which is equipped with a mini fridge/freezer and microwave! No more PB&J sandwiches, unless I want one!
I am stuck in this awful sleep pattern where I wake up in the middle of the night, stay up for an hour or so, and then go back to sleep. I wake up feeling fatigued and feel like I am starting my day with 50% energy so by 8 PM I am spent and fall asleep around 9. It's so annoying!
abcdefu yay for getting all settled in the office and hope your appointment goes well!
I booked a ticket back to Dallas in December using my points with Southwest, I am pretty excited about it.
I have slept SO good the last 2 nights and I have no doubt it is because I took my anxiety meds. They don't mix with alcohol well and since I have had at least a drink or two almost every night for the last 2 weeks I haven't been taking them, time to realign priorities.
Today is my Friday. I am taking tomorrow off and me and my BF are going to a corn maze and wine tasting. I've always wanted to do one, so I'm pretty excited!
I saw on FB in my "memories" section that 5 years ago today was the day I found out my XH was having his first affair. I didn't explicitly write in on FB but I know what my posts were about.
5 years! It seems like a lifetime ago. I ran into one of his friends in a snack shop at my work the other day and it was similarly jarring. It was so odd running into someone I used to have at my house regularly and who was part of my old tight knit group of friends, and now I haven't seen him in like 2 years. I sometimes feel like I'm living another life now. 5 years ago today was one of the worst emotional days of my life - I think it was harder than most stuff related to my actual divorce - and things are sooo different now that I can't believe I am the same person today as the person who went through this in 2010.
Have DD2 allergy tested today. Very bad to grass and dust. She is also allergic to dogs(we have one) and grass. She starts shots in 2 weeks along with 1 more medicine plus the other 2 she already takes. She is currently taking 6 pills a day, 1 nose spray, and now 1 syrup plus shots weekly. Poor DD2 can not get a break. They also think she may have asthma but the test today was inconclusive.
She has been miserable all week because she had to come off the meds for testing.
New realtor came over last night to list the house. She asked why we were selling and I said "because he has a girlfriend". H just stood there and she got really fluttered and left pretty quick after that.
I am seriously getting tired of online dating. I'm getting messages, but about 95% of them are all the same, "Hey" "How are you?" "Hey sexy" I just delete, delete, delete.
And the most recent guy, Pepsi Guy, who had potential turned out to be a flop. Our schedules just don't mesh. I haven't even seen him since Sept 6th. Oh well.

Online dating can definitely get old, I took so many breaks.

I ended up hiding my profile so I don't appear in searches. I'll start there and see what happens. A little break will be good for me.

Trying to get as much done as possible today so that tomorrow can be a day of all play. So far it's going...ok. I have to decide whether I should go to zumba or yoga tonight. FWP for sure...

It's becoming increasingly evident that I am going to be totally responsible for the kids education. DS#1 had a book in his backpack and some homework that's due tomorrow (was given Monday)--none of it was done when I checked his backpack last night. I told stbx about it and he said he'd look for the items (weekly reading log, etc) but I'm kind of frustrated that he wasn't looking in their folders from the get-go.

Story of my life with kids and school. I am not sure why they can not see the same things I see.

He hasn't even opened up their backpacks. He gets them during the week due to his work schedule, so I kind of get it--he wants to maximize his time with them. But they still have work to do and I don't like making them cram it all into one evening.
cuddlyevil I don't even send the kid's homework to their dad's house, they never get it done over there.
Sorry you're in this situation.
I don't have any control over it since he picks them up from school on Monday and has them until he drops them off at school on Wednesday His off days are weekdays. I talked to him about it and he said he would look for the sheets, but I'll believe it when I see it.
