What's your plan for getting through the holiday season in regards to health and fitness? How do you stay motivated to work out when it's cold? Avoid too many treats?

I have a really, really hard time at the holidays. I love food. I always tell myself to just enjoy in moderation and to get some workouts in, but I always end up eating too much (and moving too little). I always gain a bunch of weight I'd like to hear some ideas!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go crazy because last year I didn't get to eat all the yummy treats! So.. guess I'll have to work out more, lol. I'll probably force myself to go to the gym after work a couple days a week at least to walk if it's too gross outside to walk.
I work out on a schedule even through the holidays. Normally, I work out M-F. Most holiday parties aren't until the weekends anyway so it works. I TRY to eat something light before going to functions that way I'm not starving and eating everything in sight. That helps me some.

I can't wait for it to cool down here (although cooler weather for CA standards is everyone's dream so not the same as those who really have "cold/snow" weather, aka real winters)! I think my exercise will actually pick up and I will start running with C to the park, play a little, and run home...all of this on top of our normal 1-3 walks/day.
As for eating...I'm with estrellita! I skipped a lot of the good stuff last year and will enjoy this year, although I will try my best to keep it in moderation. At worst I usually gain 3-5 lbs and it comes off pretty easy for me. I'm not too concerned and hope I can just keep it in check!
