Good show!!

Everything but Merline's was amazing. But as an avant garde episode, a little disappointing.

Kelly's dress was so cool and really the only one that was truly avant garde. I'm so happy my hometown girl won again. And she's so nice and praised everyone else's work. I felt like Candice stole her thunder though. Candice's was made impeccably well, but it was a gown not an avant garde outfit.

Ashley's pants were HOT!!!! Damn. I loved them. Different league than Merline's but I get why she was in the bottom.

When I saw Merline's, I kept thinking, "where have I seen that on this show before?? I'm glad they cut to Kini's dress from last year.

Also, I still don't get 3D printing.

This was definitely the best all of the designers had done in awhile. As the one set up to be the under-dog on the show, I'm rooting for Kelly.

I was amazed how close Kelly got to "costume-y" but still making it work. I really had no idea how the judges would react as that's usually one of their favorite criticisms. Glad she had so much fun making it. Well deserved win.

Ashley's little pantsuit outfit was so sexy and cool. Had absolutely nothing to do with the challenge though. She should've made that outfit in an earlier challenge. I hated her super hero cape. And once she mentioned her 3d things looking like chopped hard boiled eggs, that's all I could see. Super Egg Girl. I think she deserved to be in the bottom as she really missed the point on both the inspiration and the incorporation of the printing.

I think merline probably has a lot of talent we couldn't see within the scope of this show. She has the ideas and inspiration, but lacks the construction skill to make it happen in one day. Her thought process on the 3d printing was really interesting and I'm sorry all she ended up doing was tacking them on the dress like that.

Both Edmund and Candice made very pretty gowns. Candice did a great job using the 3d printing.

I really liked this challenge and wish it had been earlier in the season so we could see more designers try it.

Agreed agreed agreed. I don't think Ashley's 3-D pieces came out like she envisioned them, so that probably threw her way off.

I love how much Kelly has progressed and evolved over the season. She's definitely found a sophistication in her crazy style, and I really love her.

I hated Candace dress.

I've already professed my love for Kelly. I can't wait to see a collection from her.

I didn't like Candice's either, but agree that her use of the 3D pieces was great.

I had to laugh at the choir robe comment regarding Ashley's cape.

I'm guessing either Ashley or Candice will get the boot next week so Tim can use his save.

I'm amazed Merline got this far, tbh. It's pretty obvious her construction isn't up to par. I was dumbfounded that she won the lingerie challenge. That thing was fugly AF and barely a step above Blake's.

Didn't last season have 4 designers preparing for Fashion Week? I guess they're only doing 3 this season.

Did no one notice that Ashley's cape looked a little Native Americanish or was that just me, lol. If I didn't know any better I would have thought that was Patricia Michaels

Candice's dress was a DRESS, there wasn't a thing about it was avant garde. Some no name star could wear that to an awards show. I've stopped being impressed w/her outfits, I think I want to see her go next.

I'm so happy that Kelly pulled her outfit off, because I could so see them saying it looked like luggage.

I can't get mad at Merline for "copying" Kini, she may not have known or realized that she had done that. I can get mad at it because it looked like an half opened umbrella. SOOOOOO glad she's gone.

I loved Kelly's look! It turned out so much better than I expected. Good for her.

Merline's just wasn't up to par.

I too loved the challenge. I wish they had done it earlier. I don't really want Tim Gunn to use his save. Just pick three and call it good.

Kelly was the clear winner and Merline was clearly going home. I didn't even feel the need to watch the judges give their feedback (though I did).

Ashley's cape was definitely giving off a tribal vibe. I completely see why Mel B was caught up in the pieces not matching. The cape had a funky feel while the dots/pants read as sexy debutante. So random, but I could totally see Lenny Kravitz wearing that cape on stage.

I'm guessing the remaining four will be making collections after Tim uses his save. They all deserve it IMO.
