OMG now I have a plug-in one breast and a milk blister on the other one. Can someone just kill me now? I've never had a milk blister before, I think that's what it is. It hurts a lot.
I've got a cabbage leaf and an ice pack on the plug. I sort of tried block feeding yesterday and today, but baby was a lot more fussy all day and I think it might be because she was hungry. So maybe I don't have an oversupply? I don't know anymore. I might make an appointment with my OB and see if they have any advice. Sigh.

Sorry about your rough go with your boobs.
DS slept a ton while we ate dinner and now that we want to go to bed he is nursing and hiccuping and generally uncomfortable looking. I think he has gas but we are having trouble burping it out.

DS is so fussy and restless tonight. He had a low fever, so we have him tylenol at 9. That helped with the fever, but he won't sleep without constant movement. I'm guessing ear infection or teeth, but either way, this is awful. It's taken 5 minutes for me to type this because he gets fussy if I stop bouncing and patting and rocking. Ugh.
Omg!! Doing our midnight feeding and I made the crucial mistake and changed baby before I fed. I had her on my lap to burp after feeding the first breast. Suddenly she pooped and somehow it all went out the side of the diaper down her leg and into my lap! Made a huge mess! I took her downstairs, washed her up, and changed my clothes and then she peed again on the changing table before I got her diaper on!!! Seriously this is the worst blowout she's ever had. Totally figures, normally H changes the diapers at night!
Now I'm feeding her off the side that has the blister and it hurts like a motherfucker. Seriously, I'm in Hell.
The only saving grace is we didn't get poop on the glider. I know it's bound to happen, but I have no idea how I will clean it when it does!
I want to kill my husband. He keeps saying I'm being irrational. Wtf that is my right. I honestly want to go live with my mom for the next month.
OMG I hate men! You can be as irrational as you want! You just birthed a baby! Why are men such jerks even after seeing all the pain and suffering that we go through?
I never understood push presents before, but now I get it! I have to say after everything I've been through in the last year, I would really appreciate if my husband would do something nice for me. But I don't want to have to ask for it. And he's too clueless to actually do it on his own. I don't even know what I want, I just want him to actually have the foresight to appreciate me and do something for me without me asking.
We sre on wake up #1 here. Put her down in the bassinet around 9pm so this was a pretty good stretch. Hoping this fed goes well then for s stretch till maybe 5ish like last night:)

Pretty sure I am about to have a breakdown. My throat is still killing me, the cough makes it worse. I can not talk so can't interact with either kid very well. I fell down the stairs tonight bc and my knee really hurts. Since I have been sick for a week plus wth no improvement I am starting to worry that I will be sick for DS1'S birthday next Saturday and I have so much to do for it so and can't get any of it done some I am a mess.

Wake up 1. Put her to bed an hour earlier to see if it would get us a longer stretch and we got 4 hours. Don't know if it's a fluke, but I'll try again tomorrow! and actually go to bed at that time too...
These nurses suck compared to those the past two nights! They said they wouldn't bring her back on her nursing schedule if she was supplemented. Um ok.So we're keeping her for now. Thanks for nothing.
I'm up. Ds almost always sttn now but has the sniffles. Ugh! Hopefully they dint last. He got a diaper change and I'm feeding him and cross my fingers that he goes back down easily...
Oh my goodness. I'm sorry you guys are having such a hard night. (((Hugs))) all around. Hang in there!
I am on wake up 1. DS had a screaming fit from 7:30-8:30 because of gas. We worked it out and he passed out for six hours! Best sleep yet for his first 4 weeks of life.
His latch still is awful on my right side and I'm kind of over the pain. He'll be fine and then decide to lose the latch or play with my nipple and then it feels like someone is scraping their finger nail over the tip of my nipple. It's only on the right side so I know it isn't a physical issue. Just laziness. little booger.
So we were out of the house all day at the pumpkin patch/orchards and didn't get home until about 4pm. DD did great, but mostly just got cat naps in the carrier and stroller. But she wasn't fussy at all and also was awake a decent chunk of time.
She did get fussy in the car on the way home, so I put her down for a real nap at home at 430pm and I had to wake her up at 730! I brought her out to the bright living room, tv was on, etc. She ate, did a huge poop, DH changed her and then she was just falling asleep in my lap no matter what I did to keep her awake. So I out her back down to bed at 830pm and now she's up again at 1130.
I hope she doesn't think 430pm was her bedtime and therefore we are going to be up for the day at 3 or 4am. I also need/want a longer stretch than 3 hours! She did 6 hours last night!
I hope everyone's nights turn around! DD slept 5 hours in the Merlin suit. Better than I thought. It took 2 hours to get her to fall asleep and stay asleep, though. Hoping after she nursed she goes back down okay and stays asleep until morning.

I'm up and my app is actually working. We are CIO with O, and he's been up for 45 minutrs?. I can't sleep through it, so I have the sound off and DH is sleeping. At least he will let me sleep in. But my poor baby; we've done this before but with all the travel last month he was back up to twice a night and it's killing me. He's a year next week, I know he can sleep through the night, he was doing it.
Wake up #2 here. She's feeding from the side with the clogged duct and it feels good to have her feed. I can not for the life of me get that clog fully drained and I don't know wtf else to try. I've done massage in the shower, heat and massage before feeding, after feeding, and don't know what else to do. It's been clogged for like 5-6 days and I'm over it!
Wake up #2. Oh wait no, we are on #3. Did anyone else have sleep issues after two month shots? I'm wondering if her shit sleep could be from that.
Yes! L had been sleeping long chunks and after the 2 month shots went back to more wake ups for several days (a week?). He eventually went back to his normal though.
Hopefully just another wakeup here, too, and not up for the day. She woke up for the day early yesterday. It's like she know it's the weekend and won't let me sleep in, lol. Poor thing, though, I know teething is really bothering her (and killing my nipples!), and I think her tummy might be bothering her, too.
Up after almost 4 hours because she pooped. I really need her to go back down and not be up for the day at 4am. I'm thinking we'll just bedshare since I can usually get a decent chunk of sleep out of her that way.
