SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KGO) -- A Southwest Airlines flight landed at San Francisco International Airport five hours late after an incident onboard forced the pilot to return to the gate at LAX.
Southwest flight 2010 returned to LAX after the pilot declared an emergency. The plane was only in the air for 13 minutes. Law enforcement met the plane at the gate and took one person from the flight. The other passengers and crew switched planes and took off for SFO about two hours later, landing at 1:43 a.m.
One passenger named Kristen, used Snapchat to take pictures from the plane. She wrote "two people got into a fight and now we're landed." The photo shows a man wearing a police shirt, walking through the cabin. The passenger also wrote "5 hours later."
Another passenger says she witnessed a man harassing a woman about a reclining chair.
That's how much extra time it took for these people to finally land in SFO compared to their original itinerary. The FBI is now handling this investigation and say they're still questioning a passenger
WTF is wrong with people? How long could that flight be- like an hour? Can people not behave themselves that long? I kinda feel like it's partly the airlines (all of them) fault too- they put in reclining seats, but then you're not supposed to recline because they've taken out all the room between your seat and the seat behind you to fit more people on the plane.
