How was your weekend?

Anything fun?

I trained my new secretary all day Friday, then ran a billion errands for the baby "sprinkle" at my house.  Jer and I taught a class until 6:30, then vegged out all night.

Saturday I ran the Pumpkin Challenge 5k with my bff.  We set a new PR!  I was so proud of her because ever since she had her kid (8/2014), she has been bummed about her strength and her body.  She actually motivated ME to finish quicker!  I had to work hard to stay with her.  I got home and started getting the shower together. My other bff was surprised and it was a nice, small party.  I was exhausted that night, so we just stayed home and got pizza.

Sunday we slept in and then went to the sports bar to watch football. Damn Bills!

I was sick Friday, so I didn't do anything except watch TV.

Saturday I picked up my CSA share, and then made a lasagna with a new recipe which came out good.

Sunday I took the train upstate with my friend and her fiancé (and some other people) to go apple picking. It was fun, but it fucking snowed! Obviously not much, but probably three separate times it got windy and there were legit flurries. WTF??

It was great! We spent the weekend in the Poconos; rented a house with S's super-fun aunt/uncle. We golfed, drank, played cards, drank, ate, drank, hiked Bushkill Falls, drank, ate, etc.

It was busy, but great!

Friday our local radio station threw a party for what would have been Divine's 70th birthday, with local theatre troupes acting out scenes from his movies, and bands performing his songs, and tons of drag queens and beer and OMG it was awesome. After the party a whole group of people came back to my house for more drinks and a firepit and things got really blurry after that, lol.

Saturday I led our neighborhood clean-up event with a bunch of volunteers, then took a nap. G cooked a huge dinner and the IL's came over and we watched football and gorged on smoked pork and mashed potatoes.

Sunday we slept in till noon (oops) then ran some errands and then our friends came over for dinner and to watch football and play board games and ended up not leaving till midnight.

I'm really glad my boss is out today so I can slack off a bit, I'm tired!

My weekend was awesome.

Friday night I met a friend out for drinks. Well, there ended up being a softball league end-of-season awards ceremony and my friend and I were in the midst of it all. It was fun talking to all the guys and getting a couple of free drinks to boot. And as full disclosure, yes, they all know we are married and not interested before we accepted the free drinks.

Saturday I had my UNfocus Focus group party at my house for work.
I had product demo's, games, Swag bags, pin the massage product on Channing Tatum
 

I got lots of great feedback and everyone had so much fun.

Sunday Jay and my BIL installed a new toilet, which I hate. My 7' tall BIL talked us into getting a "comfort-height" toilet. Yeah, my feet just reach the bottom.
Then we watched the revenge Patriots game, which they won. Well, it was an 8:30 game and I fell asleep at halftime

It was a good weekend. I got off work at about 8 on Friday. Then just chilled at home.

Saturday I ran a 5k and ran my best time yet. Showered and went back to work, had lunch with hubs, napped, then went to "work" at the tailgate party. After the tailgate we went to the bar with our work BFFs and drank to the point that none of us should have driven home. 

Sunday was a lazy day.
