I got one but it was WAY too big. didn't realize until I washed it and removed tags though, however Amazon let me return it anyway! So I am now waiting for the next size down to arrive. I ordered the breeze this time as it is supposed to be more breathable, and I tend to get hot easily. From the couple of times I tried to use it I liked it, it just was too big so it was hurting my back and she wasn't as close to my body as she needed to be

I don't have one, but have heard good things about them from friends. I might look into getting one for baby #2 as I liked the Moby, but it was a bit of a pain to get it on asap. I have the Gemini and really wished I had it from birth (we didn't get it until he was 3m old). The nice thing about those kinds of carriers is that you can put it on in seconds and get that baby right on your chest. He also liked the Gemini much sooner than he liked the Ergo.

Ds is in the ktan right now. He got shots today and it usually puts him right to sleep. I like it but don't love it. I don't feel like he is really secure in there like I do with the Bjorn. It is really hot but I think most carriers are. I like it best for around the house and like I said, it knocks him out so that's nice if he's fighting sleep. I also don't think it will last very long. Ds is 8 weeks and only 10 lbs and it already hurts my back! Let me know if you have any questions though!
Nice; positive experiences so far. I had read positive reviews on Amazon, but then when I Googled a bit more I found some major bashing on other discussion boards... but the implied message seemed to be that the K'tan is for moms who are too lazy to deal with a "real" wrap. I didn't see any concrete criticism of the carrier itself... Pugz, I'd heard sizing is tricky and that they tend to run large anyway, so I went XS... hope it doesn't backfire and end up too small for me! I wear a 6 normally, sometimes an 8, and am 5'2" so I really wasn't sure where I fall with the sizing. For some reason the XS black was about $10 cheaper than the S black a few days ago, so I figured I'll start there. For $30ish, it's worth the gamble.
I am pear shaped so the sizing just wasn't accurate for me. It said to get an XL if you are a size 18-22, well I was a 26 prepreg, now I'm a 22. I feel like it should be based on bust size since it sits over your boobs!
I got one on sale in a size to fit DH. He used it a handful of times. I have heard it's too stretchy to last above a pretty low weight, but we used it when DD was around 4-6 months.
I read that it can be a bit too stretchy for heavier babies, but my plan would be to just use the K'tan in the very beginning--like while I'm on maternity leave (so up to three months), then switch over to the Gemini. Of course, all plans can go out the window once baby's actually here.
I love mine. I can have the baby in it in 10 seconds. It is great for fussy babies. My son falls instantly asleep in it. I got the mesh one for summer.

I had this EXACT experience with the fit. I am going to contact Amazon because the larger one is completely useless to me. I actually sized down (I barely fit the requirements for an XL but have a narrow ribcage so I ordered a L) and it was still too big. The medium fits well...tight but it holds her in the right position securely and doesn't hurt my back.
Mine hurt my back. Maybe the sizing was off but I got a medium so I don't know how that could be too large.
I bought it because I had heard from so many people that the Moby is sooo hard to put on, but it's not really. Just practice with it and you'll get the hang of it quick. DD is colicky so the Moby has been a lifesaver for me.

I loved mine when DD was a newborn. I mostly use the ergo now, but I think I'm going to try a different position with the Ktan. I was worried about the sizing- "small? You really think I need a small??!!" according to their size chart, but it was perfect. I practiced with my dog before DD arrived. It's very easy to use, and I just like the wrap style.
LOOOOVE my k'tan. its just so freaking simple to use. i had a moby and got rid of it like a week after i got the k'tan. it basically does all the same things as a wrap, without all the ridiculous fabric and work. i also didn't have any issue with sizin - i was between the XS ans S on their chart so i got the XS like they suggest and it was perfect.

This really bothers me. I don't understand why moms have to be so negative to other moms. First, a stroller isn't good enough and now, if you don't use a "real" wrap you're lazy? Good grief.
Anyway, I loved my Baby K'tan. I would put my son in it and then lay down in a recliner and we would both take naps. It was easy to get on and he seemed to like it. DS was a small baby, so I used it for a long time.
I love it. I used it a lot when the twins were first home and both 5 pounds. Then switched to an Ergo when they didnt like the newborn wrap suggestion. Once they get a little bigger, I will start wearing them in the other styles, like front facing etc. Its easier to get on and off than the Ergo.
One thing I didnt like is that is sometimes felt like the material was slipping off my shoulders. I am petite and maybe its just too much fabric up there, as I have that problem with a lot of clothes.
Sometimes I wish I had a singleton for the convenience of baby wearing and getting stuff done
Lazy mom checking in - loved it. So easy for getting stuff done around the house in the early days. I got a small, and i typically wear a medium/8 in women's clothes. The breathable one sounds great!
my size L k'tan breeze fits perfect! And no back pain. This means I can finally go to TJs with baby since her carseat is too big for their tiny carts! yaaaaay!
definitely more lightweight/cooler than the regular K'tan, but costs about $15 more.
