I'm more of a lurker than anything, but I love reading all your posts and OOTDs. I had a question regarding Tieks. I've done a search and from what I've read those of you that have them find them comfy, but I'm more concerned with durability. I am hell on shoes, and I don't want to drop that kind of cash on something that's going to wear out in 6 months. For those of you that have Tieks, do you find them pretty durable and long lasting?

A couple of friends have some. I think they look nice but one thing I noticed on my friend's pair is some of the front was scraping off b/c of contact with cement. It may have been how she was walking and it scratched her pair.
My friends love them. I am hesitant to drop so much on a pair myself as I prefer a pointy toe and have a similar style I purchased at Ann Taylor but they talk about purchasing more in the future.

I have 2 pairs that are 2 years old and I'm still wearing them. I love them, they're the most comfortable shoes I own. The camel colored pair does have some scuffing at the toe but it's hardly noticeable, probably because of the color. My other pair is black and they haven't scuffed at all. I feel like the wear is probably more apparent on the colored pairs.
I just got my first pair of Tieks in the camel color about a month ago.
To be honest, I didn't get the wow factor when I put them on. I ended up exchanging for the next size up and that fit much better. But after all the rave reviews I read, I was expecting them to be super cushy and they're not. They do provide support and you won't feel like you're walking around barefoot since the soles are thicker.
I will say they get more comfortable with each wear so there's definitely a break in period. I just don't think they're worth the almost $200 price tag. This will likely be my first and last pair.
Also just for reference, I wore my Tom's for the first time in months today and they were so much more comfortable than the Tieks. For what that's worth.
I'm a Tieks lover. I have 7 pairs and they are my go to dressy shoe since I have had to move away from heels after a back injury from an accident. The patent definitely hold up the best. I have 4 of the patent and my first pair was the grey croc those are now 2 1/2 years old and i still wear them regularly. The regular leather and prints start to show some wear depending on how rough you are on your shoes but I tend to be careful with those based on that.
I find them super comfortable and they require no breaking in. I had a back surgery earlier this year and i wore my Tieks every day for months post surgery while I was recovering. For me it's worth it, they are great quality and way more comfortable than some other pricey flats I have.
