These responses are making me nervous. I've been banking on at least 40w.
I always assumed I'd go around 40 also but she is measuring 4 days ahead now and at my 20w appointment, I was measuring at 22w when they measure your stomach. I know thee change all the time but now I've been wondering when I'm going to go.
I measured ahead with both of mine for a while - and had them both at 42 weeks 1 day. I wouldn't read much into with as early as you are now.
I went into labor at 37w 2d. I actually had a doctor's appointment that morning at which she told me I wasn't having this baby anytime soon. Less than 12 hours later I was at the hospital.
One week early, although I don't think MM mom's is representative of the normal populace. I think that on average most FTM go late.
You always say this. I really don't see why we're not the "normal populace." Yeah, lots go after, but lots go before 40w too. That's why there's an "average," i.e., EDD.
I should have known when I felt suddenly compelled on a Friday to go shopping for diapers and essentials that I would go into labor over the weekend. But my rational self thought I still had at least a couple of weeks.
