Does anyone have a pair of slim fitting black pants that you love and are still sold (because I have a pair I love but they've seen their better days and sadly, are no longer sold)? I don't think what I'm seeking is a needle in a haystack, but I've been looking for a while now, unsuccessfully. Wool or wool blend, preferably the latter. Not skinny, just slim. High waist is also okay. Under $400. Versatile enough to be worn to work and also work for evenings. Thank you in advance!
PS - if anyone has a suggestion for a totally flat black (soft) leather knee high boot, I would love those too lol. Another thing I've been looking for for a long time .

I just posted these in the ootd today. They are by Liverpool and they are really stretchy and comfy a ponte knit. They're sold at Nordstrom and they're my faves.
TJ Maxx Runway stores have had a ton of high end stuff including pants and if you have the patience and time it may be worthwhile looking through there.
For the boot - what about something like the Stuart Weiztman boots - they have over the knee and below. I purchased a nice copy cat last year from Vince Camuto.
I just hit the motherload at Nordstrom Rack for Aquatalia boots - they are great if you have a slim calf. The ones I received today were $99 and have a more pointed toe, are black leather, with a little bit of mesh in the back for stretch. They have a silver "collar" around the back - can't find a pick online. The quality is supposed to be really good.
I tried these at TJ Maxx and they were beautiful and about $300 if I recall. Wider in the calf than the Aquatalia and look very nicely made and a timeless shape.
I'm not specifically looking to, but the more places I've looked, the more I've become willing to stretch the budget because I haven't seen what I want and if I can keep them as long as the pair I have now, it will be worth it. I like the Club Monaco pair, thanks, I went there and didn't see what I wanted, but I don't recall seeing these.
The Loeffler Randall pair look so soft, but I don't want any heel at all. I will take a look at the Stuart Weitzman, thanks!
