Rants and Raves

Rant:

There is a girl at work that I want to drop kick... She slacks off, whines all of the time and pops pills at work. Also, last week she called a patient to come in early so she could leave to go camping and then made him wait for an hour while she slacked off. I don't even know what to do with it all. Oh, and she refused to let another patient come in when they had symptoms of a retinal detachment because "she is crazy"

Raves:

My husband is being so amazing right now... I am at work all the time so he is doing most of the cleaning, he went and got me indian food, and he is just in general being great.

My SIL is 38 weeks with the twin girls!! I cannot wait to meet them ;D

Rant: I forgot to get heavy cream today and now I can't make pineapple ice cream. Boo.

Rave: A ton of people told me they liked my dress today.

Rant: returning to work is looming at me around the corner, I am *not* excited.

Rave: my life is just pretty awesome right now. I love being a mom.

Rant: holy allergies batman! I really hope that's all this is, and not some kind of sinus infection. I don't feel great tonight

Rave: I worked a super long day and still managed to get to the track for speedwork, go to the gym to lift, and come home and make a bomb risotto for dinner. I'm feeling accomplished. And my puppy just crawled into my lap and is super cuddly tonight.

Rant: I can't seem to get it together this week. Allergies, sick, jetlag, etc..

Rave: I get to go home to AK on an all expenses paid trip next week, that only requires me fully working 2 days. I'll be at my parents cabin for my 30th birthday!

Rant: Dh's company can't get their shit together. One week it's a transfer to Houston, the next week Chicago.

Rave: I'm proud of DH for climbing the corporate ladder, and I'm glad I now have a portable job.

I hate looking for jobs. I had such luck with my first one that I was hired on the spot and have never left. But I can't deal with the drama and politics much longer and it really is wearing on me. I have a couple leads but so far nothing is going too far.

dreamwinds--sorry about not being pregnant enough i'll tell you though, that even when you do look very pregnant, when i was in NYC, nobody gave up their seats for me either. unfortunate.
