S/O: Sorel or Duck boots?

I have the Bean boots and I love them. I've had them for a few years. I do think they are regularly backordered so I don't know how soon you would be able to get them.

I have two pairs of Bean boots and love them.

My first pair was the 10" shearling lined. They are about 4 or 5 years old and still look great. These are currently backordered until February 2016.

Last year I got a pair of 8 Thinsulate in navy blue. I added shearling insoles for a bit more warmth. I found myself wearing this a lot more because they are shorter and they are great for rain and snow. I wear them in the fall and spring without the insoles.

I tried Sorels before I got the Bean boots and they weren't comfortable on my foot. Plus I found them really heavy.

I have a pair of bean boots with the sherling lining. They are awesome, so comfortable and warm. Many of the styles are back ordered, but LL Bean has a lifetime warranty which is pretty amazing.

I have Sorels, and I love them. They are very comfortable and I can walk ALL DAY in them. But they are not duck-style, they are Medinas. They are stylish enough that I don't have to change out of them when I come in from the rain. They've held up beautifully for about 6 years now.
