Please share your dressier boots

I'm looking for dressier boots that I can wear with skirts and dresses to work--both brown and black.   Anyone have ones that they love?  (Bonus if they are a reasonable height--less than 3" and have a narrow calf!).

I bought these last year that I think fit the bill, but they are also a 15" calf so it might be too big? I don't have wide or super skinny calves and they fit pretty well. Do you need an actual narrow calf boot?

Those are cute! My calves are about 12", so I generally find that 14" or smaller look best and aren't as saggy.

I think you may have mentioned that you like Extra Petite.  I love the cole haans she has been featuring as of late.  I have an older pair of Cole Haans I bought at Marshalls or TJMaxx a couple of years ago and they are the stretch leather top.  I think they work really nicely for slim calves. Anything with stretch leather or suede I think would work nicely that has a smaller calk leg.

I think I mentioned i found at ton of Aquatalia boots at the rack.  One pair is a gorgeous dressy grey pointed heel leather with suede top.  I can't find pictures of these boots so I wonder if they are old stock from some time ago.    I am happy to share the SKU with you if you want to take the time to call around and see if anyone has any of the boots in 7.5.  All the ones I purchased were 6.5.  The annoying part is you have to call individual stores because the sku represents assorted boots/shoes from the brand and the people at the store would have to describe them for you.   The people at the stores were very helpful   It may be worth the hassle as I have purchased 400-500 shoes for 90-100 dollars.

Yep, that was me!  I've been eyeing Aquatalia for awhile, but full price is just too much!   Thanks for the tips, I'd love the sku to see if I could find some for a more affordable price!  

I almost ordered a pair of Cole Haan on their recent sale, but decided to keep looking as the pair I really like had slightly large calves than I wanted!

I am not sure if that is just for 6.5 or other sizes too.   If you can stop in by a local Rack store - they can print off for you the inventory for all the stores with that upc.  Then you can call the ones with the largest amount.  I tried calling middle of day weekday or just before close.  Shipping is 7.95 - regardless of how many you order.  At the Chicago Rack I had them send me 5 and I think I kept 2 and returned the rest.  Good luck - I hope it works out for you.

They are lovely boots -here are 2 pics similar pics to 2 of the ones I kept. I think I will keep 6 in total which is totally nuts but about the same prices as one full price.
