How has this not been started? I just spent my evening watching my bestie be honored. And Nancy Pelosi was there! And it was all amazing. In waiting in a private car with my friend who is WAY fancier than me. How is this my life? Sitting a table away from Pelosi? #politicalnerd

I don't have much today. I'm exhausted after a long day of work, followed by my kid's softball game. I'm finally sitting down, kids are in bed, poured a cocktail and am watching my Niners lose.

Preds won tonight, yay!

I made carrot cake muffins tonight, too. I've never made a carrot-based dessert and suddenly I was obsessed with the idea. Now I have a yummy addition to breakfast tomorrow.

I slept terribly last night. I hope tonight is a good sleep.

I just got home from being at the pub with my friends, watching my Seahawks win.
