How was your weekend?

Did you do anything fun?

I did lots of fun stuff. We went out for fondue on Friday night, which was delicious.
Unfortunately, on Saturday morning, I tweaked my back during yoga class (nothing like hurting your back on your birthday to make you feel your age!) In spite of that, I still had a pretty good day. Ian and I went out to dinner, and then we went and met up with some friend (one of whom has a birthday the day before mine) and celebrated some more.
Yesterday, I spent most of the day recovering from Saturday!

Friday night we went to our bff's for an after dinner drink, but headed home early because I had a big day ahead of me.

Saturday, woke up bright and early to present a 9 hour training at the studio.  DH and I went to dinner that night and it was...meh.

Sunday, taught a class in the morning, then lounged around the rest of the day.

I played 18 hours of Dragon Age. It was fun.

I start teaching again today, so I had to take advantage of a free weekend!

We cleaned the house, MH went golfing while I went to IKEA. Sunday I didn't some grocery shopping, and SIL came to get her piano and ended up staying for dinner. I also food prepped for this week and set up my office!

Nothing exciting, but productive, so it feels good!

Saturday was crazy and Sunday was lazy. On Saturday, DH had to do community service w hi students so I had both kids. We went to the library and the kiddie museum. After nap, DH met us at my sister's house for family dinner/BIL's birthday party. It was fun!

Sunday, I went to the grocery store in the morning. We watched football all day.

Mine was fun! The party on Saturday was great as always, plus it wasn't my year to drive home

glw, you already know I love this costume, but that coat is SO AWESOME!

My weekend was great, but just too short! Friday night I went over to BFF's new apartment and had some wine and snacks with her and her H. They're on the 38th floor and the view are incredible! Then I left to drive up to CT.

Saturday morning my mom, sister, aunt and I left for Maine to visit my brother. We stopped and had an amazing seafood lunch in Portsmouth, NH, then went to the hotel. It was an Embassy Suites, so they had a "manager's reception" with free booze from 5:30-7:30, so my brother and his gf came over for that. Then we went to dinner at a brew pub, then back to the hotel for more drinks around the fire pit outside. Sunday morning my sister and I weren't feeling great, but we rallied eventually. lol Went and saw bro's apartment and then went to a BBQ place for lunch. I stayed at my parents' house and drove back to Brooklyn this morning.

Friday we drove into Boston to see Iration at House of Blues. Met my 2 SIL, BIL and SIL Boyfriend.
Went to another bar after the show and then headed home. Jay drove and thank goodness- so many crazy people leaving the city. I always get so nervous and at a few points had to close my eyes. I seriously hate Boston driving.

Saturday we had some errands to run and then headed out to a gastro-pub for dinner. 

Sunday, more errands. Jay made a big pot of spaghetti sauce and we had a friend over for dinner and to watch the Pats game we recorded earlier in the day.
