When I get good customer service, I believe in raving about it, so forgive me this small indulgence.
I placed an order with The Body Shop this week for some fun stuff because they sent me a good coupon code. I had last ordered from them sometime in 2010. I placed the order on my iPhone while at work and noticed two days later when I went back to check my order that I had changed my billing address to my apartment but had neglected to change my shipping address, which meant that the order was being shipped to the home I lived in with my H before we separated. I was crushed because this meant (A) I would not get my stuff in a timely manner and (B) I would have to see my H to get it, which I don't really care to do right now.
I emailed their web orders customer service address, and they responded within two days that they were sending a duplicate order out to my billing address. Just like that. I may eventually get the stuff from my H (although if he is feeling super bitter, he might just throw it all away...I haven't talked to him in a month, so I don't know if that will happen or not), but the important thing to me is that they are doing this, even though it is really my fault that it shipped to the wrong place. I was SO IMPRESSED with this high level of service and just wanted to share!
I had fantastic service getting a McDonald's coffee the other day. Got to the window and realized my wallet wasn't in my purse. Baby crying in the back. I apologized and said I'd have to come back but thy gave me the coffee and added a muffin! Tried to pay For it the next day and they wouldn't let me.
