Boot Failure

I love the cognac color of the Frye Melissa's but don't love the way they look on me. I tried the Sam Edelman Penny boot and it also didn't fit right also didn't love the color.

Why does finding boots have to be so hard? Any other revs? I want to stay away from a cognac color that is more on the orange side.

I am with you. I love the idea of Cognac but in reality I do better with brown/black/gray. Just works with my current clothing and look. At this point I think I gave up on that color. Yep, not helpful at all

I hear you. I think you just need to go in a store and try on everything you can. I normally exclusively shop online, but after buying and returning at least 8 pairs of boots, I gave up and hit the mall.

I ended up with a pair of Nine West boots last year after trying on at least 20 pairs. Maybe go in to a Nordstrom and plan to spend 30 mins to an hour trying on boots, walking around in them, etc.
