Hump Night Randoms anyone?!

Since it's no longer hump day, but hump night, who has randoms?!

Of course my random is medical related since all I do in my spare time is go to doctor appointments.

Yesterday I went to my hand surgeon and he is not happy with how my hand is, or is not, healing. I got a cortisone shot and I'm hoping it makes it feel better soon. So far it just hurts more due to the huge needle into my wittle hand. I'm no longer allowed to go to OT because he thinks it's making it worse. He said it best when he explained that my hands are not just my hands, but in a sense, are my feet too since I have to wheel myself sometimes. Surgery was discussed and the decision will be made in 2 weeks. UGH

Today I got the results of my MRI from my foot. There are 3 ligaments where my foot hurts and the pain is because I tore 2 of the 3 ligaments. So no more PT for me either and I had a cortisone shot in my foot too.

All I can do is laugh because life is "funny" to me. If I do need surgery on my hand, foot, or both, at least my Rosetta Stone has arrived so I won't be bored. LOL!

We wore our despicable me costumes tonight for a church event. Everybody went crazy over them. I have so much fun making costumes, I wish I could make enough money doing it that I could make a career out of it. It's the one thing I truly love to do.

Thanks cuddlyevil! I love kids during Halloween.It's so cute how excited they get to dress up. I bought my niece a mermaid costume and she would live in that if my sister let her. Life of a 3 yo.!

I'm irrationally annoyed at that the Mindy project ended up being a comedy about a mom in a relationship. I loved that a main character was a successful career woman who was navigating single life. It was nice to have a character to relate too and I felt it was a fresh take that the main character was single and not just the quirky "friend" I feel like the show betrayed me hahah

I found out tonight that I have to report to jury duty tomorrow..blah. It was already hump night..lol  We're watching the World Series (Go Mets)!  I hope it's not going super late like last night because I'm tired!  I was lazy tonight and brought home take out. Cooking and cleaning up takes so much friggin effort...I'm so over it. 


Hi abcdefu! Cortisone shots hurt! But they usually do help. I had one in my right hand (where the palm meets the wrist on the thumb side) for a ganglion cyst that was extremely painful and I refused to have surgery for. It really helped, but first it hurt like a bitch!!!

I feel like a different person since I started Wellbutrin. I haven't felt this great in a long time, I don't dread doing every day things, I am less snappy at my kids, I actually feel motivated to work out and eat right...I wish I called my doctor months ago...

I'm going to Arizona for Halloween. I get back Sunday, then have to fly to Kansas city MO for depositions three hours later. So, I have to pack for five days instead of two then three. I'm excited for both trips! Anyone in Missouri? Anyone have dinner suggestions?

Well, now I need to steal an adorable baby for Halloween. SHE IS TOO CUTE!!!

I had mac and cheese with broccoli and a big brownie for dinner. The post breakup sads are really shitty and I have no motivation to do anything more than the bare minimum. It was the right thing to do, I know that. But why so shitty in the feels though? Dear Feelings, Stop it. Love, Me.

On the plus side, I got back our family photos - so beautiful. I worked late and tossed together a loose outline of a brief due Friday before I left - I felt accomplished. And I had a brownie for dinner because I can adult myself like a BOSS. I also talked shit with my mom and sister about a hotmess of a cousin. AND AND AND we get an extra hour of sleep this weekend. (ballsack)

ANDPLUSALSO, I can't believe I forgot this, a girlfriend came over last night and we were goofing off on Tinder. She's single, too. I cannot believe the number of dudes who have filtered their faces to a point beyond recognition. I mean, some of them don't even look human. There should be some depth definition in your facial structure. They look like orbs with eyeballs and ears. So ridiculous.

I'm not ready to date, but that totally gave me a hearty laugh.

@blueyes623: I am really hoping the shots work. If they don't, I don't know what the plan is for my foot. Dr. said arthroscopic surgery won't work if the shot doesn't work.

I don't know if you remember the cute guy I met at that rescue event? There was a group HH last week and I sat down next to him because he was the only person I knew so we chatted a little there. Then another girl and I started talking and he joined us and we ended up talking until pretty late. It was fun. I got way drunk. The bar was walking distance to my house.

Glad it's working for you! I started it in August and feel so much better since he increased my dose (almost a month ago). At first I was still having lots of anxiety. God it makes a world of difference not to be overwhelmed by every day things and be frustrated and anxious all the time.
As a side note---I did have a weird reaction to OTC cold medicine last week and it was the combo of it and the Wellbutrin.

@bigtowlittletoe Yes the editing is crazy even with men. My team lead at work went on a work trip a couple weeks ago and sent me some pics from the big event he was at and they were so filtered. Facial hair should not be this weird blur on your face. I was shocked because this is a 40+ year old man, he had to be using like perfect360 or whatever. I said something about it because it was SO bad and he was like I don't know my camera just takes pictures like that, so I just said hmm thats odd and left it at that. I like a light filter occasionally, but like you said you should still see some depth in my face and a line or two.

My roommate got a new phone and we took some selfies, which kept looking like we were heavily editing them bc our faces were so blurred. Turns out the phone came with an editing feature turned all the way up! It took a few minutes, but we finally figured out how to turn if off. Maybe that's why some of the pictures look edited?
