Men's clothes help

Need some help for DH.
DH has been wearing the same work slacks for a long time and keeps finding ones that just don't feel right. Prefers non-pleated front. Dress shirts are also hit or miss. He's 6'3" and not a slim fit kind of guy but not big and tall section either. The pants he got at Nordstrom last month he didn't love and is now returning for being too slim around the thighs. Would also love some recs for boxer briefs that aren't form fitting but actually looser w/o being full-on boxer short.
He's so darn picky, I can't really shop for him, but we need some new ideas of where to look. If it was a good fit, it would be worth the money.

We know Banana Republic does not work for pants (and apparently Nordstrom).

36-38 on the waist, not sure on inseam.

My H is really skinny but still hates slim fit on his legs. He also loves the chinos there.

MH loves Bonobos "Weekday Warrior" pants for work. They carry them at Nordstom and he finds them on eBay pretty frequently.

Lands End, LL Bean for pants? Lands End Traditional Fit sounds like what he is looking for.

My husband likes straight fits currently he is liking J.Crew. But before his conversion, he liked Gap.
