I think I'm ready to pull the trigger (on the khaki color) but would rather not pay full price if I can help it. I've read on some sites that they do go on sale but wasn't sure exactly when.

If anyone has any experience please let me know. Also if anyone has one please provide pros/cons!

If you have one close, I would take a look.
