how long does creamer last once it's been opened?

I use this stuff every. single. day. It used to take about a week to go through the standard sized bottle. Yesterday at Target I saw a jumbo bottle. It was way cheaper per ounce than the regular bottle. But I'm sure the larger bottle would take almost 2 weeks to use up. With all of the added sugar in there, do you think it would still be good at the 10-14 day mark?

It always takes me more than a week to use a small bottle. I use the jumbo bottles too- just opened one today, as a matter of fact. I've never had an issue w/ it going bad.

I use the big bottle of International Delight and it says to use within 2 weeks of opening. So I imagine the same would go for that.

I buy regular half and half and the expiration date on it is always a month after I purchase. I think I just bought a half gallon and the date was in Dec. It lasts a long time.

Most things with high fat content take a long time to go bad. I have cream in the fridge that is about 3 weeks old and the use by date is in a couple weeks.

Doesn't it have an expiration date? The date on ours is always like several months away. It's so artificial. And so delicious.

Eta - I see yours is less artificial. But I still think it'll be fine lol.

It should have a date on it, which should apply even after it's been opened. (It's not like deli meat or something where it lasts till X date OR a week after opening.)

I've actually never had creamer go bad.  Even weeks after the expiration date it smells and looks fine.  The bigger bottles are often cheaper around here than the small bottles (I have no idea why) and I end up throwing the rest out a few weeks after the expiration date, but it always seems fine.  I think it's one of those things that last forever!

A coworker can go three or four weeks, but I can't handle it after two weeks, it doesn't do my guts good after that. It freezes ok though (unlike cream), so if I know I won't use it, I'll freeze it.

That is non dairy and lasts forever. Prob well over a month after opened,longer unopened. So, if it's a good sale, buy a few. Lol

*ETA - it is dairy (sorry, I couldn't see that) but still should be good 2+ weeks opened or more, and a while unopened.

It has a big circle on the front that says "With Real Milk and Cream" - it definitely has dairy in it!

regular pasteurized (not "ultrapasteurized") real cream lasts a few weeks. I can't imagine the shelf stable, preservative filled stuff has a shorter lifespan.

It's fine. I've gotten the big bottle of this for myself, and I'm the only coffee drinker in the house. It's never been an issue at the 2wk mark.

This isn't shelf stable. It's also not got preservatives in it.

This isn't shelf stable. It's also not got preservatives in it.

Yes, right next to the milk in the fridge at the grocery store. I mean, I'm not trying to say I drink this magical stuff that's basically bottled clouds. But I came in here asking how long it lasts because it's the natural version, which only contains milk/cream, sugar, and "natural flavor".

I'm going to believe everyone and buy the big jug.

There are shelf stable milks out there, so I wasn't assuming it's pure junk :-)
