Including: - sequels to The Incredibles, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, Cars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Thor - several more Star Wars movies - new animated features - live-action films: The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland sequel - Pete's Dragon reboot
I saw a preview last weekend for the new Jungle Book and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The animated version is such a classic I guess I don't understand the need to change it.
Disney seems to change their plans pretty often, so I wouldn't doubt that we will eventually hear about Frozen II and will also hear that some of the projects listed in the Chive link have been changed or scrapped. I saw an interview with the songwriter from Frozen - she said that the entire plot of Frozen was changed after they presented them with "Let It Go."
Walt Disney himself wanted to do Beauty and the Beast but they didn't have the technology for it at the time.
Zootopia looks like it could be a hybrid of scrapped movies "Reynard" and "Fraidy Cat": bit.ly/1Mz5SF9
Wikipedia lists Frozen II as an upcoming movie, as well as sequels to Enchanted and Wreck-It Ralph. I also see entries for live-action versions of Dumbo, Mulan, Pinocchio, The Sword in the Stone, and Chip and Dale: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Walt_Disney_Pictures_films

Another pirates movie? Nobody even wanted the fourth one!!!
Nobody wanted it, yet somehow it grossed over a billion dollars. I checked out of Pirates after the second movie, but someone somewhere kept going back to see On Stranger Tides again and again.
