I'm thinking about getting my sister a MK rose gold watch for her birthday (the Blair to be exact). The only thing that concerns me is I've been reading several reviews that the rose color fades and chips off and isn't covered by warranty. I'd hate to spend $ on something that gets ruined like that. Any experience with this?

I remember a couple of people that bought them having that issue and returning them later to Nordstrom. It's what kept me away when I was looking for rose gold. The other problem with MK watches is that they are made by Fossil. If you are going to get a Fossil, just save the money and buy a Fossil instead. I've never owned a Fossil that didn't break after a couple of years or a drop. I stick to watches made by watchmakers. I have a rose gold Invicta that is majick143's rose gold Nixon's almost twin. DH got me the first Invicta since he wanted to get me rose gold watch that would last. There has been no color fade on mine and I really like the shade of rose gold. It's a copper, pink shade of gold. I also have a different Nixon that I love and another Invicta that's a few decades old that came from my late Father. My Nixon has shown no wear after three years and parts of it are not even metal since it's a watercolor version. They are a surf/snowboarder brand which is why I think they are durable. They have both been worth the investment.
ETA: My Invicta is doing really well. The style is super big. I can message you pics later kellsbelles for color. Majick, how's your Nixon holding up?
Wha??? My Nixon rose gold totally wore off! I've had it 3 years. I bought it at Nordstrom and they told me I could send it to Nixon. It would be like 200.00 to have it good as new. WTH? Now I'm pissed! Happy Friday!!
My MK rose gold wore terribly on the clasp part. I had it replaced by Nordstrom and when it happened again I didn't return it because it would happen again.

I have had my MK rose gold watch for a couple years. I wear it at least weekly. I think it's the Bradshaw, but I'm not seeing the exact one on the website. The clasp has some fading, but it otherwise looks pretty good.

I returned two Rose Gold MK watches, neither had anything to do with the color but the quality of the watch was pathetic. One the bracelet parts had two of the rods fall out and the bracelet literally disconnected from the face and the other had crystals falling off. I owned them both for a total of week each. Nordstrom replaced both gracefully and I picked up the Nixon. I wore the crap out of it and the color began to fade and turn more copper. I took it back to Nordstrom for advice when the battery died and they sent it in to Nixon for a new battery and to clean up the finish. When it was sent back, Nixon had replaced the entire watch instead. I don't wear it daily because I have a few to swap back and forth with and the finish has held up great this time.
