"Everything happens for a reason, people change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they're right, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can come together." ~Marilyn Monroe
I'm heading to the beach with my mom today. It will be a fun and nice getaway. I am however out of MY FUCKING MIND because they are doing super loud construction in the apatment above me. It's so loud that I cannout hear my television even if it's turned up all the way. It's giving me major headaches and makes it near impossible to work because I work from home. This has been going for literally two months. I realize they aren't entitled to anything legally because it's during normal businss hours. But it pisses me the fuck off I can't enjoy my liiving space for eight hours out of the day. I realize I could go to a coffee shop and work, but often times I just have a few hours of work to do, so I'd like to be able to be in my apartment. I pay one of the highest rents in the city and they've only continued to raise it, so I wish they'd even just through me like a $100 bucks for the inconviennce. Yes I could move, but I love the apartment and the building. I'm just venting.
Somebody tell me about dating multiple people. I'm new to this whole idea.
I've been talking to this guy on tinder and then I've had my OKC profile for about 2 weeks and I've been chatting with a guy who asked me out. I said yes, of course and we're meeting for coffee today. I'm keeping it casual with both but I feel a bit awkward and old... Just tell me I'm over thinking this
Eureka1984 I think that's totally normal, and it doesn't even sound like you are dating multiple people, just talking to multiple people. As you know online dating it mostly a numbers game. I usually date multiple people up to 2-3 dates. By then I usually feel more connected to one and let the other one go. But that's just my prefence. It's all fair game until you have the exclusivity conversation. But if you would prefer to just communicate with one person that's totally okay too.
I was chatting with Cute/Shy guy last night, and we had already discussed that for about 3 years, I lived in the part of the country where he's from. Well, last night, we discovered that we know a lot of the same people! It's so crazy! We've been running in the same groups of people for years, but never met until we started online dating!
Eureka1984 I think that is totally fine. I would sometimes have 2-3 dates in a week if it was a busy week. Like pdx said I would usually start to have a better connection with one of them after a few dates and would gravitate toward only them.

You told me about Amelie's when I was going in August! Omg it was awesome and such a cute place! J and I both loved it. This time, I'm not sure I'll be able to get there. I don't think I'll have a car.
