sexting, photos

I lived under the rock of my marriage for the last XXX years.  We never did this (sexting or photos). 

Now I'm intrigued.  There is someone... 

I like the idea of sending sexy faceless photos (not nudes). 

Any advice for me?  What in your experience has had the best reaction (sexting, photos, both?  what kind of photos?)

Yes, we've had sex several times. I trust him, but don't want my face out there. We only have 1 mutual friend so the risk of him sharing stuff doesn't overly concern me - I'm pretty sure he'd never show this person or anyone but who knows for sure.

I've taken boudoir type pics and will send those with little hesitation when im dating a guy but they are already on the internet. I will send sexy bra pics or even topless pics to the guy im talking to now, but they are still faceless and with nothing else identifiable. I also trust him a lot, but even with trust I would never do anything nude that has any way of being identifiable at all, even with my exh.

Uhhhh I plead the fifth. I've sent some I was okay with, others were a poor decision. It can be totally fun if you trust the person. Sexting without photos I actually find hotter, but I like to use my imagination

Same here. I also make sure that I don't have anything identifying showing. No jewelry, no tattoos showing, make sure the nail polish is off.

It's not just about whether you trust the person you are sending them to, I worry more about the phone falling into a stranger's hands. DH doesn't keep "incriminating" photos on his phone for just this reason.

So- when I was 23 I dated this total douchebag. But I was young and dumb, so I did young and dumb things. My friend and I got drunk at the pool (private pool, just the two of us) and decides to send tit shots to our men. Except she had a loving, trustworthy boyfriend and I was dating a douche. Who took the topless pic of me (face visible) and made it the pic that showed up on his phone any time I called. So, moral of the story- beware. I have no idea how many people have seen my tits.

Never show the face and IMO everything usually looks better in a bra, undies or lingerie when it comes to pics. Plus if by chance the photo does end up being seen or in the hands of the wrong person it is a lot less worse than being totally nude.

So true! I was trying to take a boob pic recently, but without a bra, and I guess I didn't realize how saggy I've gotten. I don't know why I was surprised, since I am in my upper 40s, and wear bra size 36DD. And my bras are boring beige! That's not sexy! I ended up wearing a lace tank, and having to slightly support the girls with my arm. 
It also ended up covering up any identifying marks, so win-win.

I sext often. Even if I were to have them be faceless, my numerous tattoos make me very identifiable. I'm less concerned about this than I probably should be.
