boiler717, how's your blood pressure doing? I saw your post on MMM, but I didn't see an update.
Thanks for asking! BP has been in the 130s/80s. I called the nurse line and she said I did the right thing. I asked about weight lifting and she said to hold off on that until my appt but I could keep up with light walking/swimming/yoga. Apparently they say you don't need bed rest but I guess weight lifting and more intense aerobic exercise can cause BP to spike. She also suggested I lay down for 15 min every hour. That seems kinda not feasible / unrealistic. I keep my feet up when I'm on the couch or not sitting on my exercise ball and I laid down for 45 min at lunch.
Boiler for me I went from very low bp to extremely high very quickly. I continued to high bp after delivery and learned that over 90 on the bottom number is what they really freak out about. I would take your bp a few times a day and ask to be seen if you are getting high readings. The swelling they are really concerned with is piting edema so is you push into your swollen ankles and they don't pop right back that is a problem. I was on a high dose of labetelol for 10 months after delivery. Dw is currently taking it. Her bp was 132/80 at our appointment this week and our dr was fine with that but Dw has hypertension so that is high but ok for her. We are also seeing the ob every 2 weeks and the mfm every 3 weeks so we are being watched very carefully.
Did you guys have an ultrasound when you first switched to the regular OB? I just set up my first appointment with them and they are going to do an ultrasound since I don't have an accurate "last period" date since we did IVF. Last time I declined because it wasn't necessary but this time I figure I will just do it since I have been so anxious. So first OB appointment and ultrasound on Tuesday!

my OB hasn't called to set up mine yet, but i assume they'll do one. it'll be around when an NT scan would happen anyways, plus i figure they'll want to see their own pictures and do their own measurements vs. relying on what the RE sends over.
Okay, I feel better now I almost felt like I was taking advantage by getting one since I've already had several. I'm glad to hear you guys have gotten them too.

My OB said I didn't "need" one since dates weren't at all in question (IVF; it's not like my last period mattered) but offered it if I wanted it. I was like OH HELL YES. I am all about all the ultrasounds
That was why I declined last time. They told me I needed a dating ultrasound and I told them I was pretty sure I knew my dates. Down the the minute, lol.

Yeah, I did the dating ultrasound even though it wasn't useful for dating. And then they asked me about LMP, and I was like, seriously, you guys understand that this stuff doesn't matter, right? (I honestly don't think the OB nurse understood that.)
Also, it was only a week after the NT scan. Oh well, ultrasounds aplenty! Plus I got my cutest picture from the OB ultrasound.

I just felt hiccups for the first time. Down by my pelvis too, so I'm guessing she's head-down. I know she can move around plenty in the next 6 weeks, but I'd like head-down to be her favorite position, so she's more inclined to settle into that.
Also, the office cleaning lady, who is the master of saying the wrong thing to me about pregnancy, just called me pudgy.

Oh, what did they feel like? I've been curious to see if I feel them, but so far it's just been the usual stretches and stomping on my bladder.
Also, a huge WTF to the cleaning lady. You look gorgeous in all the HDBD photos!
