Is Iella pronounced E-ella? I really like your girl names, they have a pretty ring to them.
I have no idea. I don't even know if we are going to have kids. But we like Ivan for a boy, which my dad especially despises, and I like Sienna for a girl... I also like Katia.... I (we) like Russian names. My DH does speak Russian so it's not completely out of left field. lol.
I shared our top names with my 79 year old neighbor tonight. She didn't bother to hide her disdain, so now my lips are sealed until I have fat roly poly babies to go with the names.
I'm sure they are ten times better than the names E likes if we have twin boys.

Haha I learned that lesson with my dad! He came up with a million reasons why Ivan is a horrible name, but we really like it. He said it's like Eeyore. Or reminds him of an ogre. lol. Not everyone is going to like your names, that's what I tell myself
My cousins have twin girls and planned on using Thor for one of them if they'd been boys. They keep suggesting I use it since their kids all turned out to be girls. I'll let them keep that for a future dog's name or something.
I looked at him and said " You can't be serious?" He had this sad look on his face and said " I guess not".

Ojo, if you're still considering the names we talked about, I LOVE your choices. Seriously. We got a lot of flack from my family for name ideas we shared in the first tri. We got annoyed/upset and we keep our choices to ourselves until they were born. I liked the names Mabel and Elsie and my mom to me they'd be fat an ugly with names like that.
My name choices change weekly if not daily. This week my favorites are...
If we have another boy he'll be Andrew, August (Gus) or Atticus (I wanted DS's name to be this, but DH wanted a namesake)
If we have another girl she'll be Elizabeth (Libby), Ellen, Mae or Ada.
I love the name Lexi or Alexis and Lexi for short. Girl names are definitely a lot easier for me. DH hates the boy names that I like. Something like Caleb doesn't work for him. He doesn't know what names he likes but he just knows that he doesn't like my choices lol.
I love the name Allister for a boy. Mostly because he would sound like an English scholar with our last name
I like the name Evelyn too! We could never use it, especially with our girls' names already haha, but I have always liked it.
Evelyn Frances is my grandmother's name. I wanted to use the whole thing together but I want to use my mom's name too so we have Evelyn Karen. Hopefully I still love it as much as I do now when the time comes!

I love Atticus! I really like Mabrey from House*Tweaking too, which is kinda like Mabel. Both very pretty names.
Babies are many years off so I'm sure we will change our minds again. For a girl we like Ella and every boy name reminds DH of some guy he doesn't like so we better never have a boy because he won't have a name.

We thought we had one of each decided and agreed upon; Jamison David and Gwendolyn Michelle. Now I have more ideas. I love Sterling, Asher, Lincoln, Graham for boys. Girls; Lorelei, Stella, Elizabeth(Betty), DH loves Ingrid, which is growing on me.
I'm always changing my mind but we ave our middle names pretty much picked out. Boy middle name will be M's first name and girl middle name I like/want Ellen (my mom's middle name) or my mom's maiden name.
My grandpa was the only boy in his family and he had all girls so I don't want their last name to fizzle out.

Proboards just ate a long response in a very unbecoming Nestlike manner. Yes, the last two names I told you. I really think they'll suit the children who share DNA with me and Joe.
I'm with you on Mabel and Elsie. I like Hazel and Agnes, but Joe hated them. If those names automatically inferred something negative, they wouldn't have been popular for so long.
Love Hazel and Agnes too. I got M to agree to Mae Josephine for another girl. HUGE step for him. He'll probably go back on that when we're actually expecting, but I'm happy for now.

I was in court the other day and the judge asked someone in there "How do you pronounce your son's name?" and they said "Chaos." As soon as they walked out, the judge looked at everyone and said "Why would you name your kid Chaos?"

People really think of baby names long before they're going to have children?
I do know that H loves the name Triton, but hopefully he's not really serious. It's not like we've seriously considered names since we're child-free and loving it.
Elsie was what we named our gateway computer back in the early 90s. For my family, elsie= cow, and gateways came in a cow box. Mabel and Agnes = old lady who can't even see through the steering wheel. It's as bad as Ethel. I think growing up in a retirement community prejudices you against old names.
But I'd keep my mouth shut if you told me your kid's name. I only profess my opinions on the internets.

In college, long before we were ever even married and financially stable enough to contemplate children, we were set on naming our kids Ryder and Rylee. My H is also a Ry- name. I'm embarrassed even typing that out now....since we were far from procreating and I would totally judge anyone today who would do that. We came to our senses thankfully.
