DS has reached the peanut butter poop stage. That shit is nasty (pun intended). And of course DH doesn't have the sprayer hooked up yet so I had to scrape the diaper with a spatula and then swish in the toilet. ::gag::

I think your husband needs to be cleaning poop until sprayer is installed.

We were in that stage for a long time. Even now at 16 months we don't consistently have ploppables.

Yes, I hate the peanut butter poop, too! This may be gross, but I recently realized that for a lot of less than ploppable poop it usually helps to let the diaper sit in the pail for a little while before trying to scrape. I guess more of the liquid gets absorbed into the insert. We don't have a sprayer at all, so this has helped save my sanity on more than one occasion.

This is gross, but totally true. We've been lucky w/ DD2, she had PB poop for a week when starting solids but since then it's been pretty ploppable. I was wondering if that was b/c we did BLW, so no purees? I really don't know, but I'll take it. We keep a plastic knife in the bathroom to help w/ the nasty ones. Sprayers always seem like they'd be so messy?
