If so, how many hrs a day are you gone? How often do you have your DW come to your house? How long do they stay @ your house/walk your dog? How much do they charge?
Im sure I'll think of other questions, but thats all I've got right now! TIA! & if you have any other pertinent advice to pass along I'd greatly appreciate it!

Before I had the baby, we had a dog-walker.
We were gone 10 to 11 hours a day.
The dog walker came once a day, between 2 and 3 p.m. The visit lasted 30 minutes, and he took the dogs for a walk, refilled their water, and toweled them off if it was raining. If it was needed, he would've fed them, administered any meds they needed, brought in the mail, etc., without charging extra, but we didn't need that.
Each 30-minute visit cost $15, but the company offered a discount to regular clients who scheduled a regular walk at the same time of day, five days a week, so we paid $60 plus tip.
I had a college kid come by at lunch to take my dogs out. Depending on her schedule that day, determined how long she stayed. Sometimes she would take them for a long walk, sometimes she would just bring them in the backyard. She fed them & left. We were gone about 9 hrs/ day. I paid her $10/visit. She only lives about 5-10 minutes from me. But... Her schedule changed at school & very rarely can let them out now, so I take a long lunch everyday to come home & let them out now.
Before DH lost his job we had a couple dog walkers. We're usually gone 10ish hours a day, 5 days a week. One was a friend who walked for a company and fit us in on the side. I paid her $12/visit for 30 minutes. Most of the time she spent more time with her. I was sad when she went fulltime at her PT gig and stopped walking. Our last walker was a neighbor that we paid $17/visit for 30 minutes. I hated paying that much, but we were desperate and we knew the guy. Both walkers came somewhere between 1130 and 2.
When DH gets another job, I really don't think we are going to use our neighbor again. He's just a little too expensive and he won't even leave a note.

11-12 hours
$15/day. He comes Monday-Friday. We get a 10% discount for paying with cash.
He lets him out, walks him and sometimes plays in the backyard with him. He's the best. He brings in any packages he sees. One time M got sick and it was a mess everywhere. He cleaned it up and called us to let us know. Also, they do doggie boarding and he picks him up and takes him back to his house. These past few days, was the first time we've done this so I'm curious how he did as M is used to going to one boarder/daycare place where there are more dogs.
