I'm going to see 'Misery' on Broadway tonight - should be interesting. I'm meeting my friend for a quick dinner and some wine first, of course. lol
I had the phones/internet for our offices changed to Fios yesterday, and the phones are all fucked up. Oh well, at least the internet speed has increased by about 50x.
I ordered a Christmas shower curtain last week, and I put it up last night - it's so festive! (I swear it's the only decoration I've put up so far!)
They must think it's a snake or something, right? LOL
That's the predominant theory, but according to the interwebz they don't have the same reaction to other snakelike objects or rubber snakes, etc. I've requested that my friend with 7 cats do a thorough investigation, lol.

I got the flu shot last night, and my arm feels like lead today.
I'm going to give myself a mani/pedi tonight, have some wine, relax.
S is taking the red-eye home. I'm wondering how he's making out. He had an abscess removed from his back on Friday, but it's in a really awkward spot so I've been changing the bandages.
He had a last minute trip to CA for yesterday and today, so he's on his own changing the bandages. I packed my handheld mirror and a box of large bandages - he probably needed to be creative to reach the spot.
Oh, and I scored Kenny Chesney tix today in a pre-sale!

milsaroo I'm sorry about the promotion. That's a bummer. Happy anniversary!
No plans tonight. There's a good chance I'll work late. Yay.
I know it takes two to tango, but everybody at work has been super chatty today! Especially my work BFF. I have work to do, damnit!
On Monday I switched back to working out with Shaun T videos after I've been running for the last three months. And I am FREAKING SORE!
An old college friend that I reconnected with recently just got engaged last week and she asked me for my address. I got excited in hopes that we get an invite to their wedding! (I'm so lame)
We did not do much last night, except watch The Voice and speculate about whether Gwen is getting lip-injections done on the regular, lol. I did convince the H to go with me to buy him a new suit for the upcoming wedding, since he's been wearing the same damn thing for every major event and he could really use an update. I reminded him that he'll be in many of the family pictures done at the wedding, so he's finally on board with getting something more sharp and new to wear. Since he has never worked in a profession that needed suit-attire, he's hasn't bought any nice dress pants or suit jackets in over 15 years!!
That is interesting about cucumbers & cats... but makes me sad that I do not have a kitty to test this out with. We almost always have cucumbers in the fridge.
My brother has two cats, so I sent him a link to a compilation of 'cats scared by cucumbers' and he said he's going to buy one on the way home to test it out. lol

Another random: My mom is a part of an online community. She knows that I have online friends and she has never been judgmental of that, but I just can't believe that she found her own group of online friends! She acts so old school, but I know deep down, she's hip. Haha

My mom found her "online friends" when she was pregnant with my little brother... apparently there's a community of over 40 moms that hang out together online. Like an "Elder Bump".
I only figured it out when she made a comment about online acronyms like DH, DD, DS, etc. and it threw me off guard knowing that she is also posting on some message boards out there. Kinda weird, but kinda cool!
I'm thoroughly convinced that there is a message board "home" for almost anyone and for nearly any topic of discussion!
