I posted in a couple threads down there, but thought I would update. Today I got surgery scheduled for next Tuesday to remove a giant ovarian cyst/endometrioma. I am SO relieved that they were willing to get me in ASAP. I was worried I would have to wait weeks and have to figure out whether I am well enough to go back to work and then take another week off later. I'm in a lot of pain right now, so they didn't want me to wait.
So that means that TTC is on hold for at least this month and next. That's fine with me. There is some concern, based on the ultrasound, that I have either a septated uterus or a fibroid that is causing my uterus to look septated. The surgeon is going to do a version of an HSG (I can't remember what it's called) while I'm under, rather than making me wait until I get my period again and coming back in for another procedure. That makes me happy, especially since I've heard HSGs can be quite painful. And based on those results, I may end up working with a fertility specialist anyway. Or, this all goes swimmingly and we resume regular TTC in Oct/Nov and get results on our own!

Yay glad its so soon! And glad they're doing the hsg while they're in there. Good luck with everything, if you are anything like me you will be so happy to be pain-free you wont even mind the short ttc break
It's awesome that they fit you in so quickly. I'm sorry you're in so much pain! But at least they should be able to remove the cyst, and hopefully give you some answers about your uterus so you can move on from there after the surgery. Please keep us updated:-)
