Are these versatile?

I really love Toms. Especially my desert wedges. I saw these in a recent catalog and was thinking of asking for them for Christmas from H. I'm really drawn to them even though I feel like the material is kind of a weird combo. I like the style, and the tassel on the back. I'm tired of having shoes in my closet that I only have an opportunity to wear once or twice a year though. Are these too bold to be worn regularly you think?

I am thrown off by the warm tones of the tweed (?) used with the cool tone gray. Not sure if that's true but that's how they look on my phone. I like the tassel but I think you can find something better. Sorry I don't have any suggestions. I have been staying away from browsing new products trying not to shop.

I saw these in the TOMS catalog I got(random). I like the leather ones, I am not a fan of these. I agree with House that it is the color combo.

I really like them. I think they are actually pretty versatile given that they haveneutral colors. If you wear a lot of busy patterns it might be a bit much but if your outfits are generally more subdued they would work.

Maybe if the tweed was black and gray but I agree with @house that the combo of warm and cool makes it look weird. Maybe I just need to see it on a model and how they're styled.

Yea in the catalog the tweed was more of a unpowder color which looked great with the gray. But online it definitely looks more gold. I also like the grey suede. And I've been looking for a grey booties for years so maybe I'll go with that.
