Additions to my Nightmare Before Christmas Hawthorne Village collection. Wait, does that count as Geek? Maybe not, but the fact that I have a village collection is pretty nerdy.
The Lego Dimensions starter pack and the Doctor Who and Simpsons level packs. I cannot wait to play the DW one and see all the different Doctors in gameplay.

Ugh, DH also asked for the Doctor Who lego set. I think it's ridiculous to spend $90 for it, but he considers it "incentive for them to make more." Yeah, we're not buying more. Usually I indulge DH in quite a bit, but this is a little crazy (he already got a 70" t.v. and the BB-8 droid this Christmas, along with a bunch of other random things).
Well, I just bought 12 yards of different Doctor who villain fabrics. Not sure what I am going to make, but my son is going to get something that is covered in Daleks soon. I found a heavy almost fleece Tardis with hot pink fabric on I want to make a dress for my daughter looking for a pattern. We also bought a crochet adipose that my daughter scooped up at a craft fair beating out some older girl who also wanted it. Picked up some star wars crochet vehicles and a max rebo for my husband also. I also ordered a few new Christmas Doctor Who figurines for our tree. I also found Star Wars Tie fighter schematics in a metallic framed print at Tj max, also picked up a storm trooper version too for my sons room.
I just signed up for the loot crate for pets. Can't wait until next month to see what I get.
Just thought I would follow-up on this now that I actually got the crate. I think it is great for geeky pet owners, although I wonder what they will send next month. This crate had A pup t-shirt (it is the same design as the human shirt in this months crate, so that is fun) An Alien collar - I really like this as it is understated geek. Some people wouldn't recognize the Weyland Corp as being anything special. Treats - always great - can't go wrong A Firefly food dish - This is the one stinker I think. It is a nice ceramic dish, but it is really small. My pugs face wouldn't even fit in it, lol.
I wouldn't mind getting more shirts and treats, but I am not sure how many collars and dishes I need, lol. And besides toys, I can't really think of what they can include to add the value, kwim.
It is still fun none the less...and I guess, percentage-wise, I will use more things in this lootcrate then I do in the human one. LOL.

My sister got me Buffy season 8 volumes 2&3 for Christmas when she found them in a thrift store. So immediately after opening that gift I went online and ordered volume 1. Now I'm probably going to order the full season 9 too...

I own all the monkey islands now. Very exciting. Love those games.
I also got a 2 of the Buffy season 8 Buffy comic for Christmas from my sister. Then had to buy the next one too. They're a bit disappointing, possibly because I'm 31 rather than 16...
