DD will be one in less than month, it has really snuck up on me! I'm looking for gift ideas (both for me and family members that have asked). We have so many toys already from DS that a few bigger items might be better than tons of little ones. But I'd love to hear any suggestions of what your 1 yr old loves. Thanks!

I have an older DS and a younger DD as well. I bought her a doll and some of those magic bottles, and she really likes them. Dolls and accessories are some of the only things we didn't have from DS.
I also bought a play kitchen around her birthday for both of them to enjoy. She plays with that everyday, unfortunately mostly spreading all of the cooking utensils and food all over the floor.

The FP Laugh and Learn House is on our list as well as one of the ball popper things and a play kitchen. There is a huge local consignment sale here just a week before his bday and I'm hoping to troll there first and then add new stuff if we need it.
Things DS loves: Wagon (with a little door in the side) - he will get in and out of it, put things in the seat cubby, and ride around in it forever. You probably already have one, but if not it's great. Water table Balls of all sorts, ball pit Little chair Playhouse (we don't have one, but he loves when we go places with them) Anything that makes irritating noises. eg. Elmo Phone Ride-on toys, for riding and pushing
Just a warning, I wanted to smash that ball popper thing with a hammer. It is insanely loud. I threw it away.
I would say mega blocks or little people. DS got both for his first birthday and he still plays with both daily. He will be 3 in December. He got the little Eaton full of mega blocks and pulls it around with all sorts of stuff in it as well as using the blocks.

When my daughter turned one she received a small set of Schleich animals for her birthday. She loved them, so we buy her a few more at each holiday. At almost 3 she still plays with them everyday.

I'm going to dig out some of DS's old toys from the basement and wrap them for DD when she turns 1 in a few weeks, lol. Her Amazon wishlist consists of diaper covers, a teething thing, and a cupholder for the double stroller.

She doesn't know what's going on.
Lol, I totally want to do this. There aren't any toys we need, we have plenty from DS. But DH is teasing me that it's "clear who the favorite is" since I said she doesnt really need anything.
I like the idea of a playhouse though, then both kids could "grow" into it.
