I slept really great last night 
I am getting pumped for my upcoming trip to visit my brother and his gf in Florida in a few weeks. 

My mom works retail and even with a months notice "cannot switch days" when I will be in Florida.  
I am growing more and more bitter for the above reason.

The sun is trying so hard to come out! 
All of my family is in general good health.   (grasping at straws today)

My upper spine/neck have been killing me the last couple of days. 
My boss has missed the last two days of work, and I'm dealing with some sensitive issues that I need her backing on.

I got a very yummy breakfast sandwich and cappuccino this morning.

Next week is Thanksgiving and I have the week off from grad school.


I took a personal day because I'm home with the plumbers. Our kitchen ceiling is dripping water and the upstairs bathroom is not above the kitchen...so they are currently stumped. This will not be cheap.

I am leaving for a short 3 day getaway after work tomorrow
Our basement is scheduled to be dug this week! Finally! (a month behind schedule!)

I have slept max 4 hours a night lately
Yesterday I noticed that some of the clear coat on MH's car has come off, almost like a chemical was applied to it. Wtf!?

We leave for Florida on Sunday!
The terror that was my 3 year old seems to have left, and my normal nice guy is back.

The meeting I ran today was semi-railroaded by someone who doesn't want to do something that the school wants us to do.
My house is disgusting.

I am working on the plan for Thanksgiving, and getting really excited for it!
The short work week doesn't hurt either!!

Free bagels for breakfast (and from my favorite local bagel place).
Got tickets to see Robert Delong again in concert in a few weeks - YAY! This time he's with CHVRCHES, who I have been told is also a great live band.


My car is in the shop again for transmission issues. Poor old gal... but at least it's considered warranty work (maybe that's why it's taking so long!?)
The pup has a hot spot on her leg she keeps messing with and we had to resort to duct-taping a sock around it to try and let it heal without her gnawing on it. I am one step away from going to the vet to buy a cone-of-shame if the little wound doesn't heal!

The heat is on in my apartment, and it's a million degrees.  I wake up with a sore throat and dry skin even though the window is open and the a/c is still in the other window in my BR.

I switched work to Fios, and after a week, the VM is still not operational!  I am very good at being nice and then being a total bitch, so I'm sure it will be resolved tomorrow, but it's still unacceptable.  (But the internet is 500x better, so it's still okay.)



Thanksgiving is coming!  I'm going to decorate, make pie crusts, and make toffee this weekend.  Then I drive up to CT Tues night and stay through Sunday.

I'm finally having a Christmas party!!  Then menu I have planned is an insane amount of work, but I cannot fucking wait!!
