As long as both parents work or are actively seeking work and it is where you send your child while you work, it should be covered. Now, you might not be able to run the debit card as the pre school might not have the right tax code but you can manually submit.
Yes as long as they have a tax ID they are eligible. But the fsa has to be used for care because you are working, so not for sahp families.
This. I had to make over a certain amount per year when we used a dependent care FSA for DD's preschool. (Which was a risky game bc I freelance and my income can be unpredictable, but it worked out.) I can't remember if the amount was a pre-determined amount by the IRS that applied to everyone or if it correlated to the amount we paid for preschool.
