Although after watching the video, it seems like there is a lot of wasted space (and you can't use the tote without the inner liner in place if you were looking for a Neverfull style bag).
I might see if they have a black friday sale that would include it. I could probably stomach 30% off. It would be nice for a work bag on rainy days. Right now I use my OMG on rainy days. It would be really awesome if you could use the shell by itself, but that doesn't appear to be an option unfortunately.
It's cute. But I have a Tumi shopper with a laptop sleeve that already looks enough like a regular purse that I'm not in the market. And Tumi, and other companies, have several similar options.

I want to like it, but I feel like the gap between the actual bag and the shell would be super annoying. I'd have stuff getting lodged down in there all the time. I also think the blue and red shells are pretty fug, so the novelty of being about to switch would be totally lost on me (although, I suppose the soft shell could come in handy).
The only thing I like about it is that it is big enough to hold a 15" laptop. I wish that my OMG (which is currently on its way to me... squee!!) could carry the larger laptop.
That looks really big. I used to use a cheapo Kohl's tote similar to that one and it was way too cumbersome.
Does anyone have the Brookline? That's down to $150 so maybe I'll add it to my Christmas list.
I have the Brookline! It's a good bag, but probably even better for someone who pays attention to the pockets and keeps things in the proper designated areas of the bag. I like to throw everything into a bag without regard to where it is supposed to go, which doesn't work well with such a pockety bag.

I like pockets, so this may be a good fit for me.
Is the outside pocket easily accessible? Meaning, if you're running around with the bag over your shoulder and one free hand, is it a complete PITA to unzip it and fish out a set of keys or something?
I shouldn't have to watch a video to figure out how a bag works. That is way too complicated. And I'd never use anything but the soft outside because that luggage strap is KEY in my world.

Take this with a grain of salt because I don't use the outside pocket frequently. Yes, it is easily accessible but is also easily confused with the other side of the bag where the zipper for the luggage handle thingy is. I often end up unzipping the outside pocket when I mean to unzip the luggage handle thingy.
Also, the outside pocket has like 15 different compartments in it which I'm sure is handy to pocket lovers, but can make it hard for me to actually find whatever I threw in that pocket (and that maybe slipped into the zipped area or a pen holder or whatever).
I have the bad habit of putting everything in the computer pocket area of the main compartment, which means that I have to take every single thing out of the bag to find my keys, which are inevitably buried under my computer... and wallet... and sunglasses...
