Good Morning!!

It felt so good to get out last night, but I am super sluggish today! I went to my friend's house for a campfire!

Today I am heading out to shop for dress pants that don't have any buttons, but aren't stretch pants. My thumb surgery is less than 3 weeks away and I am just realizing now that buttoning my pants isn't going to happen.I may need to get maternity pants  Also added to this list, washing dishes, such as the blender to make my shakes in the morning.

Also, putting on my makeup, blowdrying my hair, brushing my teeth, etc. I'm trying really hard to become a lefty, but it's really difficult!

Wish me luck on my adventure into buttonless pants!

My kids go to their dad's today and I am dog sitting for a friend, I am so excited to have a dog for the night!

I got my exterior front door installed this morning. It looks great. Now I'm waiting for my stepdad to come over and we'll install the storm door. Is it weird that I'm excited about the doors?

ETA: fingers crossed the install goes smoothly. It's chilly out and we'll be under a wind advisory in a few hours. But, no snow

I'm heading out to get my turkey day shopping done. I also feel like a totally new lease on life. I don't crave wine, I'm drinking water and really enjoying my work outs. I've also been keeping my house super tidy. It's amazing what all of this has done for my anxiety and depression!

So last night I went on two dates back to back. That was crazy. Neither one panned out but I got a nice coffee and and few drinks.

I'm still so rusty at dating but it's good to put myself out there.

Tonight I'm going out with the girls to the improv for my belated birthday celebration!

H went to the store this morning and came home with a friend and friend's son. They dropped the kids off and peaced out without asking me if that was ok. And apparently H was talking about me in the car with this kid present. Guess these two don't realize that 6 year olds have no filter.

I'm just enjoying a quiet day at home. DS is in his swing making cute baby noises and I'm watching Ocean's 12 on tv. It's supposed to snow today so I don't think we'll be going anywhere.

Good evening. Today has not been productive. I've been trying to put up those window insulation plastic sheets but keep getting distracted. This weekend I have to go downtown to have a tb skin test read for my soon to be new job. I was too lazy to get out of the house to do this today, however. Luckily the urgent care I was directed to has Sunday hours.

Also, there are some leggings that look pretty nice. Look at Hue, which I've seen at Macy's. Since the weather is getting into the cooler months, you should be able to get away with wearing leggings with boots and longer tops and still dress professionally. Also, they're really comfortable and elastic waisted.

Right now I'm drinking a beer and watching The Muppet Christmas Carol and enjoying the lights and my tree that I put up today. I also went grocery shopping today, so tomorrow I will finish decorating, make pie crusts and toffee for Thanksgiving next week, and not have to leave my apartment.

abcdefu Tips for cleaning the blender.  You can just put in a very small drop of soap and some hot water and blend it.  Rinse and voila!  Its clean.
