So when we could finally use the new bathroom that we spent $6k on, we realized right away that the contractor switched the water lines so that the shower nob goes from hit to cold instead of cold to hot.
Is there any way to fix this? In kind of grumpy about it. And my tile is not as perfect as my anal retentive nature demands. Harrumph.
The fix is INCREDIBLY easy, if you have an access panel to your pipes. Do you?
I personally would probably just correct it myself rather than eff around trying to schedule the plumber coming back with my work sched. Call the plumber, it should take him no more than 10 minutes.

I'd call the contractor too, but I don't mess with electrical and plumbing on ANY DIY. My FIL refuses to mess with them either and considering he built the inside of his house alone -- the outside is a Morton building -- I trust my gut there.
Our plumber did this too and luckily we built a big access panel into our wainscoting so DH was able to unsweat, add a piece of copper, and solder them back in place.
Thanks everyone. Sadly we don't have an access panel- the plumbing is in an exterior wall. Sadly, I think we are hosed on this, but I left a message for the contractor. We shall see. Grumble.

Where are you that it's OK to put piping in an exterior wall?! That is a big no-no for most of the country. You'll have a lot more issues than having to turn your dial a different way.
