I used Cosmedix dark spot treatment. The spots were less noticeable after about a month. Have you thought about getting a peel? My neighbor said she got a peel one time and it eliminated all her acne scars and pits. I'm tempted to do it because I have a bunch of pits on my head.

My derm said she could do a peel for mine once I am done TTC. I am not exactly sure what kind of peel. Mine is totally hormonal and I hope it will settle down if I get pregnant. My chin is so scarred. :-/
About a year ago thejen626 recommended rose oil in a similar thread. I swear it helped my skin tremendously! I had terrible scarring from acne cysts and always wore foundation. I've never had great skin, but my skin was at its worst then. Now I always recommend it to any friends who talk about their scars

Where do you get this and is it actual oil? It doesn't make you break out?

You can buy it on Amazon.
My friend went through esthetician school and I used to get facials once a month so she could get her practice hours. I had bad acne scars and she told me to buy Rosehip Seed Oil. It's amazing. Yes it is an actual oil, no, it didn't make me break out. It did wonders for my skin. My scars are completely gone and I hardly ever wear foundation anymore.

Awesome. How often do you apply it?
I used to put it on at night. Then I'd leave it on while I slept, and wash it off in the morning. Within a month I noticed results. I used it for 3-4 months, 7 years ago, and haven't used it again since then. I get compliments on my skin all the time and I'm still shocked. I did multiple doses of accurate as a teen and young adult and I had terrible scarring on my chin.

I buy it from my local health food store (similar to Whole Foods). It does not make me breakout. It has only helped my skin. I have actually gone to work without any makeup...okay, it was once because I was running late...but a few years ago I never would have believed I would do that. lol Although, I often don't wear any foundation on the weekend. I decided it was worth a try because it was relatively cheap compared to other options. I usually only apply at night. I use a different oil (aragan) in the morning.

The cheapness factor makes me want to try it for sure. Thanks for the recommendation!

Say more....... I'm quite intrigued.
About the Cosmedix or the peel? I know nothing about the peel but the Cosmedix was great. Or maybe my memory is foggy because I used it a year or so after DS was born. After having him I started picking at my face and I had horrible scars from it. I think the scars reduced within a few months of starting to use it. Enough to when I ran out of the bottle, I didn't need it anymore.

Did you use your moisturizer at night too? I started using the oil and was curious about the need to layer my night cream too or not.
