(Black) Friday Randoms!

Good Morning Ladies!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Is anyone brave enough to venture out to the stores today? I thought about it for a hot second, but I'm terrified of being knocked down and trampled on!

I'm lounging until tonight then I'm going to one of those painting with wine places!!

I just got an email from xh's therapist (the one I met with earlier this week), she asked if xh is going to see the kids on Thanksgiving and what the plans are for Christmas.

Listen lady, I'm not changing anything that the court has ordered. Holidays are not detailed in the court documents and they don't fall during his visitation time.

I'm annoyed that all these new people in xh's life (therapist, doctors, etc.) all think things are going to change right away because xh has taken a few steps to try and make things better. There's too much history these people don't know about.

1confused1 I would be so annoyed in your shoes and now that you have explained everything to the therapist I am surprised she is asking those things.

I did some serious damage online shopping yesterday. I also found a round trip flight in Jan to Dallas for $137, so I have dates on the calendar to see Dallas (that will be his name going forward)through Feb. My work is paying for the one in Feb since I have to go there for a work trip and will just be staying through Valentines day, so that's nice!

I got an iPad for my boyfriend for Christmas. That's all. I ordered a dress from express earlier this week but their sale started since Tuesday.

No shopping here. I came into work to get some things tidied up and ready for Monday. Then it's off to dinner with a friend. Easy day.

I'm trying to see if I can bump my date to tomorrow. Kids are going to camp grandma.

I'm annoyed for you! Your divorce is done, it's a bunch of bullsh*t that you have to continue to deal with XH. I was thinking similar things about my XH and our situation isn't nearly as big of a mess as yours but it's like everything is done, why keep dragging crap up out of the blue? Like I've told XH if I wanted to keep fighting with you I would have stayed married to you. A therapist should know better than anyone that things don't change overnight! What a bunch of crap, I'm sorry you have to deal with that.

Ran to fleet farm tonight for some screws and picked up super warm socks. Ordered a kindle on amazon, but that was the extent of the shopping done

I'm planning my nap for tomorrow. DS2 is sick, improved but in the "cough shit up" phase and he won't sleep unless I am right there. But I don't want to sleep on the couch.

Newp. I worked from home for a while, watched a butt load of tv, and did some dishes and laundry.

I did Black Friday at the mall with my mom and sister. It was pretty insane but it was also fun. I did wait in a line for about 50 minutes at Zara to get some discounted sweaters. That was pretty crazy. I also got boots at Ecco which is one of my favorite shoe stores. I got a marked-down coat at H&M. We did all say that we had a good time. This was in the afternoon - no middle of the night stampeding for me. Basically, it was a chance to get some good deals on clothes. I also got gifts for friends at Francesca's. Oh, I also got the $10 Tocca box set at Sephora. 

I have not remotely gotten done with gift-shopping for this year. I did manage to get my mom's gift while she wasn't looking - some beauty stuff at Sephora.

I ended up going late last night. I only went to a few stores, but got some really awesome deals! The stores were not busy at that time, so it was perfect!

I should probably add that I shopped mostly for myself! OOPS! In my defense, I had a large credit at ON so I bought some sweater dresses, jeans, a sweater. Although I did get my nieces pajamas and bought my one niece her Christmas dress and a new winter coat.

I wrote out my Christmas cards, since I won't be able to do that after surgery.

Yes, unfortunately. I'm scheduled for December 11 and then after my hand heals, I have to have foot surgery. It's from the car accident. I'm a hot mess, but I'll be okay!

Truth!!! I just can't wait until my hand and foot heals and try to just try to have an as normal life as possible.
