Should I get a burberry scarf?

I'm sitting on some birthday money ($500) from a milestone birthday and it's earmarked for something "special".  I'm thinking about a burberry scarf.  Thoughts?  Does anyone love or regret theirs?  Are they hard to care for, like dry clean only or something?  Thx!

They are dry clean only.

I'm very sensitive and found it itchy - but I can't wear any kind of cashmere or animal products without breaking out.

I love my linen one though.

I have one that is the wool cashmere blend and it's very warm. They make some that are more of a blanket sized and the ones that are for more function, but either way you can't go wrong! Mine looks identical to the one my mom has had since the 80s, they wear very well.

They are dry clean only. Be sure to get the original pattern though, as it is timeless.

How often does a scarf need to be dry cleaned? Probably not too often.

That would depend on frequency of wear, if it gets soiled, and how much you sweat, I would think.

I just got the pink silk one for my birthday and I absolutely love it!

I have a few and have never cleaned any of them. Is that gross? They don't seem to need it.

The cashmere one is particularly cozy.

If you're not someone who loses scarves, I think the classic ones are a great investment because they're so timeless.
