Morning again! I'm off today, but DH is working and it's a holiday so nothing is open. I need to figure out something to do with some rhubard my MIL gave me, go on a run and hopefully meeting some friends later this afternoon and we're having fondue for dinner (it's cold here!). The weather's been very cold but sunny at least.
QOTD: Tulips, I love Spring time when they bloom and get a bit upset when they wilt .

At work. For once it will be a slower day (phew) - not so many meeting and I've given my class the day off to do some work on a project. Going out for dosas with the inlaws tonight - yum! The weather is cold and a bit bleh right now. At least it's not raining!
QOTD: I love gerber daisies - so bright and cheerful!
My sleep schedule is totally wonky. I had a horrible migraine last night and woke up still in pain. So I've been sleeping on and off since then. I'm finishing up my nails and then I'm going to head to bed to try to read myself to sleep.
Forgot about the weather. We had a too day "cold snap" So it's not going to break 70. But it's staying super sunny. Friday-Sunday it is warming to the 80s. I'm excited to try and spend most of the weekend outside.
Today, My plans are not to do much. Clean up a bit I suppose.
Morning! It's partly cloudy (or partly sunny) and a little on the chilly side. DH has the day off as it's a holiday and we are sitting on the couch while I enjoy our new internet. We will probably go for a walk later in the day and see the festival stuff in the town platz.
QOTD: I don't have a favorite flower, but my favorite tree is a Weeping Willow. And daisies remind me of You've Got Mail -- it's her favorite flower because it's "such a cheerful flower."
Morning! Busy day at work so I won't be on much later in the day... too many meetings! Going to be at home this evening for the first time this week! Between physio, bookclub and pilates dh has been on his own on the sofa the last few nights. I took burgers out of the freezer for dinner this evening - my dad made them a few weeks ago so that will make tonight really handy!
How about rhubarb crumble for your rhubarb? Chop rhubarb into pieces, cook in a little water with sugar until soft. Put in a dish and maybe add some strawberries to it. Cover with crumble mix and bake in oven for 30 mins at 180C. For Crumble mix - 150g flour, 75g butter/margarine, 50g sugar - rub them in (by hand... make sure fat is soft) together until they look like fine breadcrumbs.... and that's it!
QOTD: Amarylis because it reminds me of our wedding. Lots of spring flowers - tulips, daffodils, and even cherry blossom!! Because generally it means that summer is on its way... though that hasn't been the case this year...
Southern hemisphere here so my day is winding down. It has been a long day as DS has an ear infection and has been grizzly and miserable all day. I am really looking forward to having a good nights sleep tonight - unfortunately I fear that is overly optimistic.

This sounds delicious! ktkl -- make this and let us know how it goes. I may have to try it out sometime (once I have a kitchen of course).

Morning! Not much going on, just at work, I'm waiting for my writers to get their articles into me, so besides wanting to pick up the phone and annoy them every hour, not much to do! It'll be the weekend in the ME, so tonight we're taking it pretty easy, having a friend over, grilling some steaks and chicken and having some drinks.
The weather is hot. That is all.
QOTD: Tulips, but also calla lillies because they remind me of our wedding
Morning! So so so glad it's Thursday! It's been a busy week! And we leave in a week for the US! So much to do before then! Tonight, we're having dinner with some friends and then hopefully relaxing at home!
Ditto Jupiter - weather is hot, usually in the 100's.
QOTD - I love calla lilies too! And tulips and roses....I don't know if I have a favorite :-P
Now I want rhubarb crumble. Like, a lot. Good afternoon y'all! All good here besides trying not to die from nausea. Heading off from work a bit early for a doctor's appointment so am trying to get something done and failing. Have three friends coming to stay for a hen weekend tomorrow so need to straighten up the flat and get some food in, nothing too exciting! QODT: I like all flowers honestly but am particularly partial to roses and gerberas
It's a public holiday here, but I sent DD off to sight-see with my parents while DH and I WAH. I have to talk to a client in the U.S. in about 30 minutes. I am just coming up to speed on posting on these boards. No idea how to add a picture or anything fun, but I kept my old screen name so everyone still recognizes me.

Morning! Anna - I'm glad to see you made it over here :-) Today DH and I are headed over to the local German imports food store. It has, after all, been an entire MONTH since he's had German food, poor guy. ;-) Then we'll come back so I can get some work done.
QOTD: I loooooove lilies and like a bunch of other flowers -- gladiolas, gerber daisies, roses, pretty much anything, really.

Good evening -- as it's nearly bedtime here now.
Today was a pretty boring day. DH had to go to work early and stay late, so he had a long day and I just hung around the house. It was cool, but not cold, and partly cloudy. I wore a sweater inside most of the day. Tomorrow I have to head to the grocery to get some things for dinner and maybe some fruit and DH has to go to work and then head to fight with a computer for a friend. I'll have one of his favourite dinners waiting for him, and a surprise -- homemade granola bars.
QOTD: Daffodils. I love daffodils. But I also like carnations. The planter in my front yard has one carnation plant. I had never seen them growing before, only cut. I was so happy when I learned DH did not poison the carnation along with the grass and blackberry weed.
HI!!! It's morning, and I have coffee in hand thanks to a sleepless night thanks to a neighbour deciding a new puppy could just cry himself to sleep (what happened to alarm clocks people!?!). I think at 2 in the morning, someone got angry and went down to start kicking things. My domicile is really funny.
QOTD: I like poppies. Genuinely like the flowers, not their byproducts.

Morning! It's windy and cool, but warming up to about 73F today. All the rain has gone-yay! Maybe we can get out in the back garden today, because if I have to yell "stop doing that!" one more time today I shall lose it.
Morning! It's finally sunny here in NYC, woohoo! Today is going to be like yesterday - music and gym, maybe I'll throw in a couple of errands and phone calls to Italy too.
QOTD: I adore sweet William, orchids, baby's breath and billy buttons.
Good morning! I'm prepping for a short trip to London soon. I am also busy at work so any typos or anything while I post are due to heavy amounts of multitasking. The weather is allright, I like pretty much any weather that doesn't involve power outages or natural disasters.
QOTD: I also love most flowers generally, lilies, roses in various colors, lavender, orchids, hibiscus, bougainvillea. I rarely meet a flower that I dislike. Lilacs might just be my favorites though, such a beautiful scent and such a profusion of blooms.
