Let's talk Christmas cookies!

What are your favorite Christmas cookies?

I always make chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and sugar cookies. Then I usually try one or two new-to-me recipes each year.

My favorite are pizzelles and snowballs, left over from a childhood with an Italian best friend.

Growing up, we always made peanut butter kisses, sugar cookies, and church window cookies.

With my son, we do gingerbread and sugar cookies.

I don't host Christmas but I am in charge of the cookies. My mom hosts a sit down for 20 or so family members. The traditional cookie flavors are: chocolate chip cookies, butter cookies, snickerdoodles, and Russian teacakes. When I married DH, I added chocolate-chip peanut butter pretzel cookies because they are his favorite. This is the first year that I am baking with a toddler so we will see how much gets done

My favorite is 7-layer cookie bars, I need to make them soon!

I tend to make peanut blossoms, iced sugar cookies, some kind of fudge (Bailey's is a favorite), cinnamon almonds, and marshmallows.  Then if I get a request or a craving I'll make another kind.
