Can you please recommend a restaurant in or around the City for a bunch of finance guys to have a nice (expensed) dinner tomorrow night?
Here's the issue: one of the people does not eat meat (but he loves fish) and will not eat anything with added fat in it that isn't a touch of olive oil. So anything fried, buttered, cheesed, etc. is out of the question. They went to Fish Market tonight and it worked out well, but tomorrow will ideally not be a fish restaurant -- maybe Asian or Italian? Know of anywhere that could accommodate my impossible cousin? His pickiness has already stumped my IRL London friends...

It's the lack of fat that's the issue for me - I can recommend many restaurants which would have veggie options but they tend toward using fats or cheeses or be fried. Here's what I can come up with that I've been to before:
Cinnamon Kitchen (Liverpool St) is very good (Indian) Hispania, near Bank, is Spanish so might find something Northbank Restaurant has a variety of stuff including fish Indian City, Blackfriars (Indian)
I don't know as many restaurants around town as I would like, but I just went to St. John recently and enjoyed it. Pretty sure he'd be able to find something to eat there, but not sure it's the atmosphere they're going for. It's casual feeling with a pretty stark, all-white decor but the menu is sophisticated. It's an interesting mix. I'll attach a (bad) pic of the menu the night we were there since I can't seem to pull one up on their site right now. I know there was a fish special on the board as well.
But really, I'd probably just listen to mrsukyankee

So I don't know that area well and substitutions aren't well received here.....but I'm attaching a list that was sent to my husband from a former sous chef turned accountant. He is definitely a foodie so the restaurants will be good, just not sure about the fat thing. We went to Texture which was in Mayfair and it was really good so I trust his suggestions.
