How much breastmilk in bottles for young babies

Thank God. I was beginning to think that I was way overfeeding my kid. DS is 14 lbs.

I think 2-3oz, but the most she ever took was 4-5oz at a time.

DS was taking about 3 oz. DD was basically a bottle refuser at that age so DH was lucky if she took an oz.

This is all very reassuring. It is hard to know if you are over feeding when bottle feeding.

I think they both started at 3. Moved to 3.5 shortly after starting DC at 3ish months. DD2 now gets one 4oz bottle and the others are 3.5.

B was always 3-4 oz. I started him at 3, he was always happy to take more. I never gave him more than 4 oz at a time.

I have children that love to eat. Both took 4.5-5 oz after a month.

Mine have both always taken 4.5-5 oz after a month. They have both been large babies, but I don't personally think you can overfeed at that age.

DS didn't take more than 3.5 oz at a time and at daycare this was pretty consistent. However, it did seem like anytime my parents watched him, he ate more than usual. I don't think they over fed him. I think he was just hungrier or fussier at night and they gave him milk to help soothe him.
