Finally! These 5-day work weeks are killers. Anyone have any big plans for the weekend? Looks like it's going to be nice-ish.
My brother just texted me that they are on their way to the hospital for my SIL to be induced (again - they had an appointment this morning, but got bumped for an emergency), so my nephew will be here by the end of the weekend! I'm hoping to get down there after he's born to meet him, and I already told my boss I may need to take Monday off, depending on how long her labor takes. (Hopefully, not long!)

Good luck to your SIL @5kcandlesinthe wind.
I've got a busy weekend ahead of me. I have a holiday party tonight for my running group. Tomorrow I'm running a 5k and have yoga in the afternoon. Sunday I have a long run and breakfast with my running group. Then Sunday night we are going to the bar to watch the Patriots game because the Panthers are also playing at 4:30 and they aren't broadcasting the Patriots down here.
Plus I start my new job Monday so running around today and the weekend getting a lot of stuff done. Next week is going to be a big shock after not working for over 7 weeks and the last 2 months at my last job I was only working 4 days a week.
Happy Friday everyone. Planning a low-key weekend, Christmas themed. I am officially 37 weeks preg. today! Today is also Dh's bday. I am picking up a dq ice cream cake. We are going to make cookie dough. I plan to organize some baby clothes and pack my hospital bag.
Sat, both boys start basketball. DH said he will take the boys to a playground and to Walmart (to shop for giving tree items) so I can rest. We will then decorate the tree and bake cookies.
Sun, we will go to church and then in afternoon Santa is coming by helicopter to the local airport.
Tonight is the adults only holiday party for the parents at DD's school. I'm on the social committee so I offered to help out the hostess. For some bizarre reason she wants me there 2 hours early
Tomorrow DD starts Irish step dancing lessons. I sing in the afternoon. And surprise, DH has a fighting event
Sunday I sing for a baptism. The whole family is Nigerian so the outfits are going to rock my world
So much fun and exciting news in here! I want updates on everything come Monday!
DH and I are on our way to Hampton Court Palace for a Good Food Fayre (yes, that's how they're spelling it). We'll hit a Christmas market or two after that.
Tomorrow we're having brunch with some friends at one of the weekend food markets, then more Christmas markets. I love how they get into the season here!
Tonight I have book club; the topic is Leah Remini's expose on Scientology (so literary! lol). Should be fun though
Tomorrow I'm volunteering at the Girls on the Run 5K in Dedham. I love the organization and was really excited to volunteer until I got my assignment....parking attendant (wilted) Oh well, ha. After that I'm meeting up with my race team for a run, then home for football/beers/fatty snacks.

Still no nephew! My poor SIL; she's not progressing. I think they're losing their minds
How was the book, scm1011? I saw the 20/20 (or whatever it was) interview and thought about reasong it, but I kind of assumed they'd have covered everything in

Oh no! Your poor SIL! I hope things start progressing soon.
It was a quick and entertaining read. The media did cover a lot of the substance already, but I enjoyed it in a beach read kind of way. Scientology is such a crazy, dangerous cult, and if it weren't for Leah's sense of humor it would have been depressing I think. Tom Cruise is more bananas than I ever imagined!
