fried food

A friend is hosting a "fry party".  He has a large fryer and it will be set up and ready to cook anything the guests want to bring/make.  The is actually the second time he has thrown this party - at the first I remember having turkey, avocado, french fries, cookie dough balls, funnel cake. I have been browsing Pinterest and am overwhelmed by all the fried food I want to eat!

What would you want at a party with this theme?  Any great recipes?

My husband loves fried mac and cheese bites! Bring cold mac and cheese and batter.

Pineapple and pickles! (Separately, of course)

I imagine it is one giant vat (turkey fryer?) of oil.  So only one kind.  We'll do savory first and end with dessert.

I will be making (or suggesting to others) the mac & cheese.  Would you batter pineapple?  Mini-candy bars dipped in funnel cake batter may need to happen (plus it is easy to do).
